  1. Ooh, I hadn't thought about that Feck me, now you've got me started - the possibilities are endless ...... I wonder if he could take a moulding of a stock and make a new lightweight one from carbon fibre Christ, there's some money to be made here
  2. Sorry Jimmy Was you thinking of the tape?
  3. Just these little beauties left These will take out a cat, through a dustbin at 150yrds
  4. It's yours mate Bunny Bandits having the plate and 1 roll so, have you got any preference on which roll you want?
  5. It's yours mate. Pm me your address - I'll stick it in the post
  6. As already said Bn, go direct to A&M mate ...... They have some funny opening times but, they're nice people and they're easy to deal with. From memory, I think I went from 4 mags to 7 after fitting one to my old .177 kt. ....... I put a thread on here about it ages ago.
  7. I've had a sort out of one of my shooting boxes today and, I found some bits that I won't use so, if anyone wants them, you can have them. There's 2 different rolls of camo tape. ...... 1 is Duck Tape, the other is Gorilla Tape. There's some .177 Prometheus pellets - these have the yellow plastic jacket and metal tip and spine. ....... They've been shite in any barrel that I've put them down. They may work better in a smooth bore. Lastly, there's a rear sling plate thingy. This attaches between the butt and pad so that you can attach a sling swivel

    Sleep?

I've never really thought about it before but, I'm anywhere between 4-6hrs. ...... I've always been an early riser in the mornings.
  9. I'd be putting Ethan to work up the chimneys before I sold that mate £380 is a big ol' loss after the work and extra bits that's gone into it
  10. Cheers Jimmy I'm looking forward to having a go with that Beeman mate. I've been reading up on them - the yanks love them. They rate them as a mini magnum Springer I saw Si's video - it's impressive stuff and, I'll tell you something else mate - there'll be nothing wrong at all with your work on it Besides, I never want to see that horrible little 57 ever again
  11. I quite like that as well. I've never had a pump up rifle but, that looks ok. Pumping it 60 times for 30ish shots before going out wouldn't be too bad if it's consistent.
  12. Cheers Reno's The bit of range time with it so far was good fun. Hope you're well mate ............. How're you getting on with those standing shots? - you haven't said much about it lately.
  13. Cheers Mark Aye, I remember doing ok with my old Challenger but, I hadn't been spoilt by tuned springers and PCPs back then - I just hope I can do this one justice and put it to some good use
  14. Cheers Jeff For a 33yr old rifle, I can't find a mark or dent on it.
  15. Definitely mate ....... It took long enough to find this so, all bar me needing a new kidney, it won't be going anywhere
  16. It sounds like he put up a good fight for those few days. Rip kid.
  17. Cheers Tom The amount of times I wished I hadn't sold my first one.
  18. Cheers mate I stumbled on it by accident - it was in the collectables area on BBS. I never look in there.
  19. And it's Friday mate - it'll only get worse later
  20. I can see a difference in the cheekpiece and the checkering on the grip. Also, the rear sloping block thingy on the Challenger sits slightly higher than the Maxigrip rail - it acts as a bit of an arrestor for the scope mount. Apart from that, I've seen a lot of similarities between these 2 and the other Mercury's
  21. Cheers mate - I'm well pleased with it I'll bung you a text about those mounts That sheeting's got the potential to come up really nice - feck knows how you're going to make that into a tube though. Is it as flexible as it looks? ...... Good luck mate - I'll look forward to seeing how you get on with it
  22. If I remember rightly (I could be wrong) the doctors here offered a mainstream treatment that didn't give him good odds. A Spanish hospital offered a new treatment that, if it worked, gave the kid a much better chance of recovery. ....... British doctors and newspapers were calling it quackery and, the courts tried to stop them going. As Tomo said, I'm sure Ashya is now well and at school. I'm happy to be corrected if I've got any of that wrong. Also, I can't help wondering what might have happened with Alfie Evans if he'd been allowed to t
  23. That was Ashya King Tomo. I've often thought of that one while reading about this little lad. I always reckoned in Ashyas case that British consultants let their god complex get in the way of allowing someone else to help him - thank God the parents were so determined.
