  1. Same here mate - I've got a head ache just looking at that lot I'd go with: 12 ltr cylinder ÷ HW100kt = a fair few fills Honestly, feck knows but, a full 12 ltr cylinder will last you a while.
  2. I've run out of likes Jimmy But, your spot on, it's always good to meet up, especially if there's a bit of shooting involved
  3. I'll send you a text about staff ratios mate Seriously, you should see some of the mob at our area meetings
  4. I thought you'd end up back with a 100 after you sold the last one ........ I always regretted selling my laminate Kt. I'm not usually a fan of composite stocks but, that one looks good. Happy hunting mate
  5. I reckon it could be mate I've bagged up the legs and saddle from the largest one for the big yank at work - I promised him a rabbit ages ago. I'm thinking of trying a rustic type curry with the rest next week - just chucking the legs in a home made sauce. ....... That's if they don't end up wrapped in bacon and barbecued over the weekend
  6. My RFD reckons there's a chance that it could be heated in, thus making it a b*****d to remove. ......... It's his old FN12 that I now own. Bung me a pm if you want his details
  7. And, the the meat on them little ones is lovely and tender
  8. I've heard this mentioned before - the mind boggles
  9. Tell me about it mate - I got knocked back by every one within a 20 mile radius last year, including this one Dave managed to get it because he plays there
  10. Yorkshire ....... Never heard of it. Is it near Watford? I've got this satnav thing in the new car but, I'm fecked if I know how to use it - I pushed a few buttons yesterday, now it won't stop talking ? Daves a good 'un mate - it's nice to have that trust, it gives more sport and variety. ...... That really is a cracking permission.
  11. You know what Reno's, that's actually not a bad idea mate ....... Showing normal blokes that put in hours of practice on their accuracy, then hunt healthy meat to cook and eat - it may even educate a few of the packaged meat buyers that think we're cruel. We can only hope eh
  12. I've been shooting with Mark for around 4yrs now and, over the last 12ish months, we've become good mates with Dave. Dave's been up to the rugby club and the big manor house permissions a few times so, last night he returned the favour - he asked us up to his new golf club permission just outside Swindon Dave had his nephew along as he wanted to see what it was all about - I think he enjoyed it and, fingers crossed, a new hunter may have been born. Although it's only 9 holes, it's a big place with lots of uneven ground and wide open spaces - stalking about
  13. I agree with Phil on the Vantage Mark I've got a Vantage sf and a Vantage Max - I reckon their quality is above their price point.
  14. I'll be interested to hear how you get on Maxwell I've got an FN12 but, I'm not brave enough to strip it - I've been told that they're fairly simple but, working on springers is my limit.
  15. I know a couple of lads that like Stanley's ....... Cheap and easy to switch blades when needed - it makes sense.
  16. I've not had much chance to get out so far this year but, last night, while I was getting my kit ready, I was thinking that a good useful knife is invaluable I thought it would be interesting to see everyone carries in their kit ......... I never have to do any bushcraft type stuff with mine (I'm too much of a fidget arse to sit in a hide for too long). I really only need one for unzipping a rabbit or squirrel or, breasting a pigeon. about 4yrs ago, I picked up a little black keyring lock knife - it was £3, in a tub on a counter in some shop. it's got
  17. Cheers mate ........ I'll keep my fingers crossed that you find yours - good luck ?
