    I take mine out in all weathers, never had a problem with it, be it scorching in the sun or the shroud frozen in winter! it spends most of its time getting dragged round the wolds mankiest farms. ive got 3 mags too but its a bit fiddly changing them in the dark with freezing hands, i can guarantee I'll drop one in the cow sh1t every time

    there a good bit of kit.. the 8 shot mag is the only let down but thats fine and docent really bother me unless im ratting! some people dont like them but ive had mine longer than any other pcp ive got and its going nowhere, think its about 200 shots per fill and as accurate as any good full size rifle out there, its put 100's of rabbits to sleep and way more rats perfect for shooting in the woods and around farms, never bothered fitting a bipod or sling either! see if you can have a go on one before you buy one just incase you dont like it.

    Be good to see how Mitch gets on with it, I like me photon for rat bashing but I think an add-on will be mint for keeping in the game bag, I usually shoot the last hour or so of light and the photons crap for that, nice to be able to use the day scope then just bang that on if you want to stay out? The range finders spot on too, got mine from the same place, it’s same internals as the nightsite but £100 cheaper!

    Nice one? Looks like prime stalking ground that bn... you either clock them miles away or nearly stand on them and have a heart attack ? hope it’s still cooler at the weekend, sweating me balls off in Spain at the mo!!

    The only time I consciously put the bipod on is if I’m going to a paddock perm because most of the shots will be taken prone and the grass is short! other wise nearly all my shots are while stalking are freehand or off the knee as you just need to get the shot on before you get busted... if my bipod broke I wouldn’t bother replacing it and yeah there a pain in the arse when on for no reason, it gets vegetation stuck in it and ruins the balance to! like Mitch above said sticks are a pain to cart about but I wouldn’t be without mine for nighttime ratting, there perfect for shitty farms

    There no lightweight I’ve slapped slings on mine and fettled them to feck, don’t know why I bother with pcp’s cos there more fun and just as accurate
