    I pop in now and again when trying new pellets they might only have. Got a tin of RWS superfield .22 off the shelf. Rather dinged so sorted through them all and couldn't fond any mint ones (one actually had a rip in the tin...) . Asked if they had any undinged tins in the back and had a comeback of here's the best we have in the back-its the best you're gonna get. Still didn't look good but bought them. Took them home, then went to zero and ended up throwing out over my shoulder 4 bad pellets to every good one. I mean bad as in smashed, not just nicked. Here's what I salvaged af

    I've read on a thread your zero can change when you change parallax on a cheaper variety scope(Nikko sterling etc) Now what isn't clear is if they term parallax the range finding AO-or the eye relief +-. Any ideas?

    Thanks Mac, I'm going to get a cheaper S200 to run along side my TX. :-) best of both worlds I hope.

    When you're out. Just put a hand up randomly or do something else out of the ordinary and see if they notice. Chances are they are checking on you. You just don't seem to require them.

    I need a sling on my TX! Just screw some studs into the stock after putting holes in? Or get an S410?

    Nice mate. I'm about to upgrade my TX to an s410or similar. Just the weight getting to me. Carry it over my shoulder most of the time between hunting spots.

    After deciding to stop shooting squirrels a few weeks ago... They just arent that good eating-and have no dog trainig use. I'm only shooting rabbits, pigeons, pheasant and ducks. +any bandits etc. After dog training this morning I went out with my experienced chap. Took a 25m headshot on this duck and sent dog for it. Tx200 Air arms field .22

    Held one today in gunshop. VERY HEAVY!!! Nice rails though.

    For £200 and not a penny more I'd get a used weirach 99s. Any day of the week. I started with a £200 norica dragon carbine. Then I bought a £430 TX200 and its a dream. £200 really doesn't get you anything special new.

    After a PCP and have my eye on a new S410 super light in .177. What would you buy with 700notes and can I do any better or worse? HW100kt looks good second hand too!

    Thanks. Love this TX. Thinking about getting an S410 though. Made the cardinal mistake of trying one. Really nice. Was in .177 though.

    If it's 35yards max range. Considering the trees branch perimeter from the nearest front to the furthest rear could be what-say 15-20yards? That means the hide is at the base of the tree? Lol Took me a while to realise the difference between the front of a tree and the back could be as much as 10-20 metres. Which is two MDOTs for me depending on distance. Plus the elevation to calculate. Its a lot of maths for me. Or hope, pray, give a MDOT and beg. :-)

    Cheers fellas. Been getting frustrated with my hunting style because I like a walk and stalk around. And had never seen a rabbit since I started. I'm learning to hunt on the move though. It involves a lot of slowly and a lot of quietly. :-) all the best

    Grabbed a pocket of pellets and went out with the dogs around the yard, walked up the hedge for 10minutes and saw nothing. Let the dogs off for a pee and a play, turned around and low and behold, a wabbit!! 25metres. Standing shot with .22 RWS superfields-with a head torch strapped around my wrist. Lol dog got a retrieve as well. Awesome!

    No one hole groups at 20yards, was this standing? ;-)

    Yeah pedestal drill would be fine mate. Happy to help if moxy goes AWOL. ;-) but my gut feeling is he lives on here. Lol good lad
