    I'll zero in at 34 and see how it goes Vman cheers. What are the perks? My chairgun says for my I for I get 5cm drop at 50metres. And 13mm at 40. What does yours say? Cheers

    Using a 4x32 scope. So its very low aye. I've got a chrono. :-) Strelok isn't much better either

    Went out and set some decoys up in the corner of the field and paced out the likely trees at the same time 20metres and 40metres. Walked back to the kennel, grabbed a dog and my falcon prairie and walked back, went into the conifers one end and sat the dog up, walked down inside, lay down and crawled to the end and saw a pigeon in the 20metre tree. popped him with a cracking headshot. Called the dog up to heel and sent her, over Two fences and a load of shrub and thats first one in the bag. Moved the decoys to behind a building near the house to get the pigesons to hit some tall oak

    Hi guys, I'm at my f***ing wits end with Hawke chair gun. .177 shooting at 11.7ft/lbs with falcon accuracy plus (7.34grain and 0.019 BC) Shot and measured 5groups of 5 @ at 50m I have a drop of 10cm at 40 I have a drop of 5.3cm at 35 I have a drop of 1cm. zero range is 30m. Scope height is 3.9cm please help. I just want a nice screen shot of chair gun with accurate info. cheers

    Is having the odd flyer PcP specific? I never had flyers TX200 .22, I had bad groups. With the PCP I have something like a 4shot one hole group and then a flyer way out. Any help? PS love this .177! It's like a laser! Very confidence inspiring.

    In the only shop that I've seen them in, stuck at the back of the shelf and dejected looking. In their rustic style, two tins of some Falcon accuracy plus .177 pellets. Nobody orders them anymore! Why? So I bought them. Whilst the TX200 is .22 I decided to buy a PCP as well. Nice little falcon prairie with an amazing skeletol butt and thumb grip And they had a pump 2nd hand for £75 quid! Got the lot. Well happy with that!

    Sat in a tree house waiting for jackdaws to land on the chimney to kill, i checked zero and holdunder -(2mildots against a branch, then waited, until a squirrel popped out and I took the shot. I watched for 40 minutes but no jacks showed in the morning sunshine (how unusual) My feet were frozen so I examined my kill with a flick of a stick, Left him be and i hobbled indoors for some coffee and slippers. Beauty of a head shot though it was with the TX

    Every time I go out lamping I set my scope on 3x power and AO at 25yards. When I'm out hunting in the day light I set my scope on 9x and AO on 35yards. I zero at 26metres and use a .22. After a lot of testing the use of zoom I deduced that for me I'm more accurate with a high zoom, in that I can release shot closer to where I want it to hit, albeit suffering more scope wobble which I deal with. 3x power felt nicer, more confidence inspiring not seeing the wobble but not as precise. What's your setup look like? Looking for something simple. Considering getting a decent fixedpow

    I think they bought a damaged batch cheap and are selling at rrp. Good for them, not so good for me which turns out to be not so good for them business wise

    Thread I read suggested cheap scopes alter POI when objective is focused. :-) Carl Stoke what scope do you have? Does it happen if you focus on a different range?
