  1. Thanks jonnie, I think a range finder would be a better piece of kit to get before a chrono? What chrono? The over muzzle kind?
  2. Absolutely right. They are not far off accupell for hardness. Off to gunshop now to find some 5.52s hopefully
  3. Thanks Mac, without the right scope having a mildot or something I can't like you say, get an accurate shot placement whilst maintaining my current usable ranges 10-30m
  4. Is this one? Also another quick question, I just started trying out some H&N FTT 5.53 and they're tight! Very tight. Does consitant seating improve accuracy as its quite hard to seat them flush in the TX200. Does the tight fit reduce FPS? I shot twice at two crows just now, and they both had flown off from the firing noise by the time the pellet hit branches right behind them. About 50metres. JSB and AA field fly much faster I'm thinking?
  5. I'm tempted mate. Looks great! Will be in touch
  6. Wrong forum. Try theweatherlife.com/forums
  7. Mac, I appreciate it's all well and good, I'm not about to start trying 80m shots. I cap myself at whatever range I can group in a £1 coin for live targets. Which is 45m right now, standing supported. With that said, what good practice shooting at 60-65m which I shot around 300pellets at today. (Did the full tin.) Anything 45m or less looks like you are on top of it. Cheers for input all. Still looking for a scope with more than 4 mildots. ;-)
  8. Because vermin hunter on YouTube had 6ft/lbs at 45metres iirc with his IMP.
  9. Chairguns generic mildot has 6 dots... Dammit It also says I'll have 6ft/lbs at 80metres which can't be right?
  10. Just re zeroed @35m and shooting 65m on 3mildots. Just need the range time and adjust trigger a bit lighter. And no wind hppefully the groups will shrink. Some pics of groups getting onto 65m targets. 2 groups at each target and then aim off accordingly for bull.
  11. You must have known I just spent £430 on a TX200! Twat!!! Lol I would have bitten your arm off! Why always after you've just bought something...
  12. I've been out calibrating near and far ranges today. Worked out drop from 10m out to 60m ( 33mm 5 shot group @4mdots) with the TX. Now there's a telegraph pole @80metres which requires 7mildots holdover. Would you say this is enough penetration to drop a pigeon? These pellets were shot at 80m AA field diabolo .22 What scope has more than the 4mildots my Nikko sterling has either side of the cross hair. I could do without but the 3mildots of windage really get you off target and lost. Looking at a new scope so reccomedations please :-) zeroed @30m currently.
  13. Great. Does the new owner know what ir means?
  14. Mac delivers to hand. Excellent working breed lmao
  15. IR means illuminated reticule right? Good luck with sale :-)
  16. I'd probably agree and say my scope isn't set up correctly. Fortunately I was reading about hft last night and how to set it up. Cheers
  17. Sorry, wouldn't load image. Sorted now :-)
  18. I got these groups from 8 shots. Any ideas? All PoA centre. Baffled to say the least. PS it was a bit breezy but nothing serious.
  19. I've read some of marks posts. And you're right- Twat does come to mind. ;-) Only jabbing mark ;-) How does moxy get to approve me? He removed my cover photo of a hot young woman... Questionable tendencies if you ask me. ;-) lol
  20. Nah mate, what you want is this. Made myself, cost, £30 tripod, old axe handle 2wood screws and a verander bolt and some camo wrap Brilliant in the field if you're zeroed off it already.
  21. Hard to get a shot on one fella. Good job. Inspires me to keep looking for them ;-) Might get an owl decoy and see if I can temp one.
  22. Cancel that. Not a fan of the amd ret. Cheers
  23. The list of quarry is my little bag (total) I only got the one squirrel yesterday. ;-) piss takers
