  1. Nothing wrong with the TX :-) bit heavy perhaps...
  2. I had a shoot of a S410sl this morning. In .177 and I have to say it was unbelievable! And at £730 you'd better believe it. Having never fired a PCP before. What's the honest difference in "ACCURACY" between this rifle and a cheaper gamo cayote TACTICAL? Only asking because it's a lot of money! But I might need one.
  3. Where's the picture of this nothing' you got. Don't believe you!
  4. Moxy- I don't think half the boys on here have a rifle long enough to buy a supply of pellets for it. Especially Mac. Think he has 10 tins of test pellets. Finds which the gun likes shooting and then sells it. Twat! Lol
  5. Pocket for me. Utter freedom for not a dinged pellet yet.
  6. I know Mac, I need to work on shot placement and not groups anymore! Agreed Elbows were rested on a big box.
  7. Just like to say cheers to all you lads ( Except bigmac-because he a twat! Lol) for giving me every bit of info I needed to improve. I'm getting there. Cheers anyway. All the best Shot this group at 45m standing supported but not rested. Shaking like a leaf. Lol
  8. AA field 5.52 16grain. Hi fellas, I got a chrono finally and put all my different pellets through my TX200 .22 First thing this morning I did a 5shot string with every different pellet I have, the RWS super fields were very good! RWS superfield 5.52 15.9grain 569fps-11.45ft/lbs 569-11.44 569-11.45 571-11.52 569-11.45 Then with the AAs and got these results. 563 -11.27 567- 11.43 562-11.24 568-11.48 565-11.35 I then fired half a tin of AAs checking ranges and drop offs, and half a tin of RWSs and then fired a 10shot string of AAs. 574-11.74 579-11.92*** 576-11
  9. Nice shooting mate. Best job for a magpie is to be shot and float away from sight! Lol
  10. Which screw does what screwed in and out? They both seemed to make the trigger harder to break or reduce the weight of it so you couldnt tell the 1st stage from the break? If anyone has some handy info that'd be great thanks. Got it set so the 1st stage leads straight to shot release which is nice-but can't tell when the shot is about to be released! Is it a case of trial and error when changing trigger weight etc? Change something half a turn, shoot a few groups? Thanks for that.
  11. In a .22cal Because I have a set of nuts... Lol ;-) good day out today. Got two woodies, there seemed to be loads about. Anyone else notice that
  12. Went out this morning and got two squirrels and a pigeon. They are huge! The one squirrel is bigger than my 9month old Labrador and the pigeon is bigger than a chicken. The big squizzer came to have a look at me squeeking -about 8metre shot lol dinner tomorrow night
  13. Yeah I'm asking millimetres. Just measured a pigeons head (20mm) feathers make it look more like 38-40mm though. (The one) I'm asking because if you know the size of said object, you can find out the distance. Which is useful when the difference between 40 &45metres is a 6cm pellet drop.
  14. Looking at the MDRF on chair gun, how many mil are we looking at for an average head? Is nose to ear or nose to eye am easier way of measuring them? I've got one head that I just skinned this morning but it's inside out skinned and rather not go rooting through the bag ;-)
  15. He's just fecking teasing us with shiny nice things! Twat ;-)
  16. Looks lovely! Good luck with sale. Bit far for me or I'd of had it
  17. Is this consistant where it takes a springer a shot or two to start grouping. I always drop the first one. Every single time. I normally shoot a few off before I go out now
  18. Morning fellas, I've got some new H&N barracuda hunter .22s going free. 18grain Probably only used 20-30 out the tin.
  19. Where'd you get the pet yeti from fella?
