    No mate was really after Smooth-hounds with peeler crab baits. Mate had a small but its not unknown to get the odd Bass. Last night tried again solo on a rock mark where I have had lot in the passed spinning and plugs but alas not one hit. But hey sometimes its nice to be out with just the anticipation of a hit and it only takes one to change the evening. Cheers Arry

    Out last night fished Beesands Kev what a warm beautiful evening mirror flat calm. Only one Smoothie and my mate had that lol, still a pleasure to be there. Still people on the beach at midnight huddled around little fires and bbq's. Had to smile at a couple just behind us in their chairs with pink gins in cocktail glasses silhouetted in the sunset. Could imagine it being any where in the world when is like that down here. Your right Kev truly was one of them evenings that are good for the soul. Cheers Arry

    Exactly what happened to the Lady next door to me only see never realised the cat was even in the house. She heard something in the middle of the night it was under her bed and she heard something, scared the shit out of her. Next thing she was infested with fleas and had a devil of a job clearing them even with professionals called in. So yeah I'm with DIDO and Tom on this one Ken keep the bugger out mate. Cheers Arry

    I love sitting and watching mine play. Like the idea of taking them down by the stream for a play. Might just follow that idea especially in this hot weather. I have only ever had one ferret that used to love to jump in our pond and that is when I was a kid, many moons ago Lol. Nice Bass by the way. Be hoping for one tonight as I'm out but not really fishing for them, don't mind an accidental though. Cheers Andy

    Lost a good mate when I was in my late teens and glad I was not there when it happened. Think it was five mates all drinking in a Steampacket Inn one side of the river decided to borrow a dingy and paddle across the river to the Fairseat a pub with supper licence the other side. So using bit of small planks as paddles from the timber yard the set off. They tipped over one never made it ashore and a mate had to kick another mate off he was grabbing his leg under water and they would have both gone. RIP Ben.
