    Lads I'm thinking of getting a Metal Detector and I think it was DIDO that recommended the Garret 250 to me on another thread. Now I have been looking at different ones and now completely bamboozled Lol. But is it worth lashing out a bit more and going higher up in the Garret range or not, or even something different. I would like something that not too complicated easy to use but can still perform. Cheers Arry

    Mate I know I don't get the same results as Stoaty or Zandy but they are not bad. Now I can't afford the top of the range gear but have a look at some of my shots if you think they are good enough you could try the FZ150 Panasonic bridge camera.     I have a couple of live traps set for Squirrels at the top of the garden on to of a stack of fence timber baited with shell on Hazel and Walnuts. This little fella climbed up trashed the little wire mesh bait holder. He went away safe and sound, I am very fond of the old Hedgehogs. Cheers Arry
