    I would class myself as a bit of a novice still so chuffed with that little Roman coin. Was thought until recently that the Romans never got down this far but a Villa was found about 5 miles from me. Thing is I ferret that ground but he don't want any body digging holes in the paddocks. Not found a pilgrim bottle and not much chance of any Viking stuff as they weren't very active in the South West. To be honest I'm happy if I find the odd coin wish a few more had more detail on them but it's bit like fishing you never know what going to crop up. I'm an old f****r now so helps keep m

    Couple hours yesterday half a dozen coins most with the faces etched away a thimble, old penknife and a small rim fire cartridge case which I think is .177 or .170 I'll be honest didn't know they did rim fire that small. Writing seems to be " TICL AVD CAESAR " not sure if that means Julius Caesar. Probably does. Cheers Arry

    If you look on Google earth or other satellite maps just up stream from where Nicola Bulley was seen last not the bench there is a lake surrounded by houses. Surely they should look in theres it's closest to the last spot she was actually seen. Imo the Police cocked this right up. They made their mind up she was in the river and would not have any different theory's on it. They never closed the area off let the public in to walk over any evidence that might have been there, wether it be foul play or accident. Arry

    I think I'm right in saying she went missing from the red circle would her body have not got hung up on the weir few hundred meters down stream at the blue circle. Seen dead people myself hung up on weirs. If she is still in the water between the two places surely she would have been found by now. Something is not right here. Arry

    You could do that one Keith it's real easy one and comes out a treat. Bit of veg some roasties, nice meal and enough for sarnies a curry or stew as well. Go for it mate. Cheers Arry

    Keith a Spatchcock chicken is its cut down the back and opened up to make it flat. Stand it on it's neck end on a cutting board and cut down beside the parsons nose right down it's back to the neck. then open it up and press down to sort of flatten it mate. Cooks a lot quicker and the breast meat stays lovely and moist. I roast it in a large tray on a bed of a sliced carrot, Onions, garlic maybe leek as well with chicken stock or water. By the way mate little tip I always save all the bones and skin boil to make stock for next time freeze it in a Chinese take away container. Che
