What I find a bit strange FD is the ones that seem to post the most on this thread don't believe in Big Cats in the UK. If theres no interest then why post but I do think you are interested as for Sandy think its a hate of GM. Thing is as you say most not all mind of sightings were 20 years ago who walked around day in day out with a zoom camera ready to take a picture of a once in a life time sighting. The people that told me of their accounts were not interested in finding proof as they had seen it were not going to the press or reporting to any body. I don't know it dna, scat

Or two people seeing the same thing for 20 minutes could even tell it was not in the best of health or two people in the same car seeing the same thing in the road ffs. My ferreting pal that seen the one laid in the road on a country road on the way fishing drove to the farm on the side of the estuary went and told the farmer who oh yeah we see it all the time. Said he won't let his Mrs and kid go up to the woods near by. The next farm down toward the sea ask my pal to go down with the rifle as he had a ewe killed but he didn't see it when he did. Young farm girl (married with kids n

I have shot mink bolted them with the ferrets JR's nailed a few and bugger do they stink afterwards the JR's that is. Even followed mink hounds on a tributary of the Dart the Harbourne where they caught within an hour. Don't see them at all no more now there are otters about. So imo there is some connection with otters coming back. Cheers Arry

Read my posts again mate I have all way stated I have never seen a Big Cat. But how ever I do trust my mates. When they said they seen it they seen it sometimes two people watching at the same time seen the same thing. None of them to a man or woman has reported their sights to the media a Big cat site so what the motive? Most will only give an account if asked. They are either farmers or hunting/fishing people country folk. All the sighting were in the Southhams area which is 342 Square miles with many river valleys a lot of these valleys are heavily wooded. Dartmoor is 342 sq

Good offer mate. Not fond of Venison myself but did want to try a bit for jerky. The the guys I know don't have much trouble shifting them. Is there a cookery school any where near you they pay good money and want demonstrations how to butcher etc. Two out of the four butcher in town would take them I reckon. Cheers Arry
