I have quite a few Blackbird regulars that turn up every day I put raisins out for them. If I forget or it's wet I I haven't been out one male get on the windowsill and looks in it's quite funny. Cheers Arry

Mostly one big field that I've no where near covered and a small paddock next door mate. All the coins the Bull nose ring and lead triangle from the paddock. George 1st coin about 1717. The big field is the same field I had that Roman coin the year 134 -138. Then a one pence from 1971 Lol. Find loads of copper coins with the faces etched completely away just blank disks. The amount of lead I dig up is untrue thinking of start to keep it, just chuck it in a bucket and let it build up. Cheers Arry

Well out again bit of a mixed bag Bull Nose ring, Curtain rings. a flat Thimble,Buckle, a catch and this triangle of lead. Right this Triangle of Lead has a hook on the top at the back and letters. Whats your thought Lads? Probably the biggest button I've found and believe me I've found quite a few 36mm in diameter. Cheers Arry

Thanks Steve. I would class myself as a novice still I have a 540 Vanquish as my first metal detector been doing it about 18 months now. Found loads of coins all but one copper one six pence but still no hammered Lol. Loads of bullet and casings ends of 12 bore cartridges odd stuff but in interested in all stuff as I do mostly fields. Used to do field walking look for flints when I had the JR's and still pick a few up while out detecting. Loads of buttons even very small ones at depth and of coarse loads and loads of lead and bloody square nails but getting better as distinguishing them,

Well been out again few interesting little bits. Any you metal detecting guy know if this is a Roman coin. 29mm rough diameter. Reckon a horse brass looks like a greyhound on it. A Button with a Pheasant with a crown around its neck. J Humphre on the back. Cheers Arry
