    I've had a cracking season to be honest broke a few personal bests and tried a species id never ran before. Been up and down met good lads the craic been good and the dogs have not let us down so far. Looking forward to next season few more things to try more people to meet. Ive got one more little trip planned then after that enjoy the summer and let the dogs have a well earned break abit of sun on there backs and green grass under there feet. All the best fowks ??

    A dog that is not bred for gameness will have it's limits, we both know for a fact they would quit in the right circumstances. Chasing a motorised hare that there never gonna catch time after time after time I'd imagine if one knew he could get some fur in his mouth there wouldn't be much to stop him. Just my opinion tho.

    Sort of thing I'd use them purple crystals for ?? Somebody will be along in a minute to tell you the scientific name for it I rate it for cuts to nails and pads infections ect. Best of luck hope you get the problem sorted ??

    Had the same problem was using theraband green wich I've used in the past with loads of success was hitting a lot of birds but didn't seem to have much effect ?

    I reckon there's a few dogs that would refuse to work certain things if taken out of there comfort zone. Seen loads of dogs back down from a good fallow or good winter fox. Even seen some dogs jack because of the Flint under there feet.if your out once a month lamping a few rabbits then you'd never find out what your dogs really got.

    They all sound I just think the camera goes to there heads sometimes and they feel the need to say silly things sometimes. I like the way Peter fury presents himself to me the mans a proper gentleman I wish him all the luck in the world.

    What a lot don't seem to realise is the best most hard worked tightly breed line in the world will throw shit. You could put the best 2 dogs in the world together it doesn't mean all the pups will be good.

    That's the sort of thing that comes to mind when someone says a fast looking dog ?? However this feller can have a gallop good bit of everything in him bar Beddy n deerhound.

    A dog catching and retrieving a rabbit isn't a decider for me whether a dog makes the grade or not. How a dog performs when the going gets tough and he's not getting it all his own way is how I decide whether a dog stays here or not.

    There's nothing to be ashamed of finding a dogs weakness it just means you've give the dog enough to find it out you'll get dogs from same litters one will make the grade and be a hard old b*****d and you could have another that's not got the heart for it when the going gets tough. Some dogs can only handle abit of work or go a lot better at some things more than others. it's down to the owner at the end of the day some can get the best out of a dog and will work with it to make it handy some look for those raw ingredients and build on them. Id rather get a pup off a man that will tell you

    Done well in the fog mate. I've been out but me minds on other stuff with the dogs at the minute.

    Not getting involved in whether it's right or wrong but in my experience things like this are done for abit of payback. There's probably a lot more to this than what's bieng let on.

    I've done 4 outta 6 where the first place is bieng filmed with my brindle dog cracking spot still abit warm now but if that puts you off shouldn't be in the daytime coursing in the first place ??

    I used that clip as to me that is a real driven dog that needs correction to keep it in check as you can see it will listen to commands and is obviously trained to a good standard the collar is there to quickly correct the dog similar to a jerk of the lead or a harsh word. I've said the same a collar makes up for the owners short comings ect until someone more experienced showed me that is not allways the case with every dog it doesn't matter what it is sport dog gundog herder an e-collar is just another tool in the box.
