  3. I used to enjoy his mag and respect to him to still be out doing what he does at his age but some of the people he lets write lurcher articles is part of the reason I don't get it now.
  4. I've said the same myself tree hands but was proven wrong. It's hard to bielieve but some dogs are so driven it's needed and I ain't talking about terriers ??
  5. I've said it for years , we need a documentary I agree we need to find a way of putting our side accross no good sitting on here bitching about it in the last thread there were emails sent complaints made and they've run another story on it !!
  6. Yeah I agree there some of the first dogs I ever see run a hare were greyhound didn't mind the odd deer and fox either. But for me if I get a lurcher pup I want it to have a good chance of doing a few different things hares day or night big or small land few fox the odd deer or bit of ferreting it's hard enough to do this with a cross bred lurcher let alone a fast and furious greyhound. I had a feathered small saluki bitch here for a while would Run all day for aslong as it needed to I got it unbielivably fit me and a feller that's on here tom was out with it one day it was hitting the har

    Flu

Good post I had pneumonia twice in a short space of time damn near killed me and I'm a fairly fit strong person. Can't cough can't get a proper breath can barely move heavy sweating can't breath properly so can't sleep can't eat it's feckin horrible.
  12. That's what you gotta watch only takes a stalker or keeper to see your dog knecking a deer from a high seat and that's it you would be lucky to know where the shot came from. Lamping I've heard of the dog making a catch Jeep coming from nowhere rolling the dog and off. As for all those saying it don't happen blah blah blah some land owners are terrorised and they've only got to catch someone trying to do it right and it all comes out. Remember some lads are there for a run or 2 some are there for other reasons. Not just guns either I could tell you some things you wouldn't believe all for h
  13. Seen some pics of jeffs old dogs look like nice speedy animals hope you find out what your after ??
  14. I can tell you now if that happened here there would be some serious serious backlash to your farmers actions. farmer stamped on a lads ferrets not far from me and the estate are still paying the consequences for that now.
  15. lol I had a run of bad luck similar to you few weeks ago 2 good strong dogs both out of action just as the season was getting busy hopefully coming out the other side now. That dry cow stuff is good for the cuts you haven't spotted straight away if they've turned abit funny I really rate the stuff allways handy to have a tube in the cupboard.
  16. I did think a place looked very familiar in another pic ??
  17. Looks nice place for a walk out with a keen dog or 2 I'm seeing a couple of fox most mornings at the minute with this bit of cold ??
  18. Good do mate I love the look of that sire done well in the fog??
  19. Have to say i hate using vets now there's only 2 i got faith in and they ain't your average high street cat and dog vets. Some of the things they do to cream money out of people especially the old fowks makes my piss boil.
  20. Hard to pull back but ok if you can't get nothing else just take that silly pouch of and replace with something else
  21. Can't be much hotter than were we go dan lol
  22. PM sent King. Banana and tomato soup with oily fish is good if it's a heavy bull blooded type it helps if you can keep there muscles cool aswell plenty of stopping at troughs and streams. All the best hope you sort it ??
