    Got a dog here has killed a lot for its age but I still don't think I seen the best of it yet still very puppyish around other dogs. It's not something that is worry about though if there catching just hang in there and don't give them too much too soon ??

    good post stiffy there's some so called hunting men that need to take a good long look at themselves after some of there comments on here. Won't take pics of a retrieved fox or hare but happily talk fighting dogs smoking aswell as half the other shit that gets said on a HUNTING forum yet man works his dogs and lads on HUNTING site are saying he deserves a 5/10 stretch its ridiculous.     No one would have much to say about a fisherman taking a snap of a fish because it's legal just like no one has much to say if a hunter takes a snap of a few rats or rabbits, it's the pictures of illegal acts that gets folks backs up...What like talking in depth about growing and smoking weed on a hunting forum ? Who's backs up exactly ? Here's an example a mate of mine pays £500 quid a year to have the right to fish a lake 5 mins walk from mine. Now if I popped up there tonight and whipped out a 30lb carp and I chuck a pic up am I going to get lads asking whether I have a permit or not ?

    Daniel Cain I'm in my 20s and went coursing 2 or 3 times before the ban. Does that mean you are calling me a grass ? Nobody's saying start videoing and taking pictures of what you do. you wouldn't have much to say about a fisherman taking a snap of a fish he's caught why is hunting any different ?

    what's funny is if the lad would of put some of those pictures up on here a few weeks ago loads of you would've been giving pats on the back. How another hunting man can call another but will happily put a terrier or ferret to ground or slip a lurcher is beyond me. Hunting is hunting killing is killing. The cage stuff I don't like I wouldn't ever put me dog on sommat that doesn't have a chance to get away. same wwith the pens but how do we know the dogs wernt put in old chicken pen or sommat just for the picture ? Too many got opinions cast in stone without knowing all the facts.

    I have a few nice antlers out in my fork box, and I see many of these antler/bullet cattys for sale on eBay, but my two main reservations about them are, one, they look to nice to use and seem more ornamental than functional, secondly I am massively reserved about joining parts of a fork together as it looks to me like one day, one of the brass cases is going to come adrift and hit you in the face or worse the eye, I know this is a worse case scenario but that's what I think whenever I see them, has anyone that regularly shoots catty,s used one of these things as an everyday shooter, over a

    I like a hedge buster myself as I like doing abit of hunting in forestry block and woodland so a dog that's handy round cover is a must. As for jumping all my dogs jump never owned one that won't f**k all that picking them up at gates and fences up and over. Have come unstuck a few times was having a walk by chievely services and me dog jumped one of the double fences landed clean on the second fence. Also try to teach a dog to go under wire on command.
