Had an oncology consultation yesterday, got chemo on Monday and a scan on 2nd May. Doc said if the scan (after 3 sessions of chemo) isn't showing any improvement, would you be open to clinical trials? She said I may have to go to London, I said I'd rather die tbh, they didn't laugh as they knew I was serious Maybe possible at Bristol though We also discussed the stuff on the video and I was told that that procedure stops chemotherapy working, I said if it's not working anyway I've got nothing to lose. Anyway, won't know how it's going till towards the end of May Stil

Back in the early 80s 3/4 if us used to go wildfowling on the Solway. Picked up about 01:30 for the 125 mile drive, out in the marsh at first light, breakfast then pigeon shooting, evening flight, fish and chips then back down the M6 in the dark in an E reg land rover, top speed 60mph with an internal PTO that was like cruise control lol. Took it in turns to drive but we were all knackered, the only person who got any sleep was the driver when you hit that rumble strip and snap awake the adrenaline boost is massive - for about 30 seconds Cheers, D.

Got up at 06:30 to sort the kids, went to work and we had a breakdown that shut the plant down, worked all day, all night and all the next day till 16:00. Went home, had a shower and went out on the piss (Friday) fell asleep in the pub after 2 pints Cheers, D.
