I will take some footage, jeans and stuff doesn’t cut it,got to be lightweight and hydrophobic.

I will check them out, only went for Kuiu because of the reputation,to be honest I am spoilt for choice over here,Canucks have a rep for being outdoorsy types, the kit is top notch,Kuiu is what a lot of people get when heading to Alaska and northern Canada so I know it will be fine in the alps and himalaya, packs down to nothing as well, they have a 100% waterproof floatable dry bag rucksack,I have used dry bags before, will probably go for their bag.

just having a coffee in Timmies, last day of the Salmon season, hoping for a biggie.

There's a walking group picks up near me, if anybody turns up wearing jeans they're refused on the coach, getting stuck in the fog on top of somewhere like the Lakeland fells without suitable clothing is asking for trouble

I've got a fat T shirt as well, but after removing sugar and pastry products from my diet I'm ebbing away steadily

That sparks a memory,a news report years ago, some lads maybe the midlands?Maybe wales?Burgled an outdoor factory, made their escape along a railway track with their booty on quads, goods train came along and wiped them out.

I have an old fleece jacket Drenham drench wear not made any more, when it gets washed rarely but when it goes in machine I add nikwax tech wash makes jeans water proof too.

I borrowed a flying suit once for a microlight course,Hungarian goose down filling, supposedly the best down available, never been so warm in a microlight, even went through a snowfall at 4500 feet I think it was, been trying to find a Hungarian down jacket for this winter, the jacket I just bought has a down filling and will serve purpose, just not quite as good.

If I was going up in a kite with a lawn mower engine , I'd need a nappy , not a big coat 😁.

The bloke who loaned me the suit had sold a microlight a few years previously to a bloke who had a couple of lessons, only a couple, then took it up solo stalled at a thousand feet or so,he died.

Hi guys , bit of a long shot , but I’m due to imminently move to the plains of my people and have heard rumours of a firemonger of weapons ??
He is said to be a purveyor of the uks finest steel tomohawks and one of the last true dwarf weapon masters
if anyone can point me in the right direction , I’d be greatly pleased

I want to purchase a pair of boots for the colder weather, I do a lot of walking, and some trekking about the hillsides and trails. I do not want "winter boots" but rather boots that would be suitable for a cold day, but would work with layers of socks rather than thick heavy boots. Several people have told me Meindl is an excellent brand, and that is great, but what kind ? Hiking ? Walking ? Do they make them that they would serve the purpose mentioned above ? Any specifics to look for in a boot for this purpose ?
      Thank you in advance,
      Lynn

Sorry gentlemen to bother you, but I have come to my wits end. My neighbour across the way lets her dog roam as it please when it comes to shitting and urination, she is too lazy to actually take the dog out herself. He seems to have taken to my property and a certain area just under my bedroom window. I do not want to hurt the dog for the sake of her ignorance, but I do very much need to stop him from doing it any longer. The grass and  the shrubs are dying and turning brown and the flowers are just rank with smell that floats up through my bedroom window.
He is a VERY OVERWEIGHT beagle and leaves behind some damn good deposits.
I am wondering short of doing something stupid, what can I do to deter the dog from that area or any patches of garden I have? I plan to go to the council about the problem, and lay some of it on the town manager who is an acquaintance of mine, but in the meantime, any tricks out there to make my flowers and bushes unsavoury.
      Thank you in advance,
      Lynn
