He looked shocked and said “yes , yes, what treatment do you suggest ?” I said “ how would I know ? It was just a wild guess, I’m not a doctor !” That was my wife’s cue to give me an elbow in the ribs and suggest I leave the room As it happens, my diagnosis was absolutely correct, and a small operation cured the problem ! I could probably have performed the procedure using a Stanley knife but probably best to leave it to the professionals Cheers. About 10 year ago I slipped getting over a stone wall up the dales..ferret box bashed my hand against the wall..and my ring finger swelled up....by lunch time it was throbbing so I bailed out ....it had calmed down next day...but still hurting after loads of nagging by her indoors...I went to A and E....nurse looked at it says we send you for an exray see if it's broke.......broke I says it's not broke....she replies well we just check to make sure.....look I says I'm telling you it's not broke....I've broke both arms in my youth...and numerous knuckles in my hands....its not broke I'm telling you....
