And this is exactly what I trying to say to you.

What you have just typed out ffs

Will the owner of them boarding kennels get any money from the government.

No he won't.will Joe public have anything so he stay in the house.

No he won't.

But a company that makes billions I profit each year.will get a massive hand out.

Will it be so bad is the big airline company's have to sell a few planes to pay the bills.

I don't think so.

And I'm not spitting at people who have more than me.

I couldn't give a feck what people have.

I'm happy with what I have..

And you don't think I click with whay s happening in the world.

I'm not sitting here with a massive brain injury.

No that is not what you're saying. You're saying oh boo hoo the big companies, they have billions and can pay.. no they can't and millions upon millions of people are gonna feel the pain. You seem to think they all have a big mattress in the back. Blinded by your own spite and ignorance.

If this virus starts an end to globalisation it may well be worth it, fck everyone back off to where they or their parents/grand parents came from close the borders grow our own food make our own goods and trade at arms length with them if needed, no need for every fckr to be flying around the world minding other peoples business, lets look after the uk 1st 2nd and fckn 3rd, fck globalisation

Those 'smelly lefties' on the streets protesting about globalisation were not as daft as people thought.

So what does £2 billion pound profit really mean then.

It means that after every wage and every food order and every fuel bill and every single plane is bought.

That the £2 billion is profit.

Am I right or wrong.

If Tesco and Sainsbury's don't get fresh strawberrys from some far flung land that was flown in.so fecking what.

Or yea everything is connected the fruit stacker in Tesco might save a few calories by not lifting a few boxs.

Ground all the planes till Xmas.

Will we all die because of that.course not.

Agreed. Will it happen here? (UK) Will it happen in the US?

If it reaches that point in the US, they will absolutely authorize Marshall law. Blighty not sure, I believe it has to go through a vote instead of Boris just saying yes.. but I could be wrong. I did read they are gonna use the army, for certain tasks though.

The president here ordered it without a vote but this can only last for two weeks and then has to be debated/voted in the parliament for continuation.

I've just had a msg from someone, telling me his boarding kennels is teetering because of all the cancellations. Does he or his family deserve that? You don't seem to click.... everything is economically dependent on everything else in our globalised world and all you can do is spit at people who have more than you, due to your own bitterness ?

I'm not going to start calling people out, but there are some mad views on here...

I know 1 person who has had to go into liquidation as the business is built around large events and people are cancelling left right and centre...

My brother in law is working on a large holiday complex, holding his last payment as they are running out of cash and bookings have stopped...

The knock on effect is huge, the economy isn't something that only the rich are affected by...we all are...and the poorest will be hit the worst...by "propping up" the bug players it allows the smaller players to continue...its one inclusive cycle...

One thing I will say...is if ever our sheep like mentality is proven it is now...waiting for the government to tell us what to do...by midday today, we had sorted the wifes business in ths short term to trade without her, pulled the kids out of school, I've had to rearrange a fair bit..but we didnt wait for Boris to tell us... it's all blame the government when sometimes it's up.to individuals..dont go to the pub, or cafe...walk the dogs on a beach or moor, sit in of a night and have a meal...etc..

Also, thos it's only killed a few thousand is also ridiculous...almost like it dont matter as the stats are low..lets see what the stats are in 6 months and then ask if as individuals we should have protected each other...

Just out of curiosity King what in your opinion is an acceptable level of annual profit for a multinational company ?.....£1000 ? £10,000 ?.....what ?

Spain's socialist government is requisitioning private hospitals. Working people enjoying the same health benefits as the rich, whatever next! ? Wonder if it will happen here in Toryland? I'll go and wash my leftie mouth out!?

Private ocean liners were requisitioned by the British Gov' as troop carriers for the Falklands campaign so yeah why not.

A friend does conferences, they've just had to cancel their biggest annual event through force majeure with a loss of over half a million. For a company of 6 people, that is one hell of a knock. He takes a low salary but gets a share cut, this allows him to pay his mortgage, feed his family etc. His Mrs has just lost her job as director of reception in a hotel, so now they've had a double whammy from two completely different yet intertwine industries. His delegates would come from all over, stay at the hotels, eat in the bars/restaurants, fly through airports etc etc. That's the impact from just one very small company.

f**k the economy mate, the UK is the laughing stock of Europe at the moment......showing ourselves up for the shallow, valueless bunch of f***ing cretins we have become.

As a nation we are responsible for some of the greatest minds in the history of human beings....nobody makes judgement on a football match 3 minutes into the game when one of the teams is renowned for its great footballers.

Maybe we should have faith in our own people !

I here what people are saying about globalisation, all sounds great until you’re on amazon prime or booking you’re next holiday abroad. Always someone else that needs to take stock isn’t it?

I agree mate...we are not stupid people (in the main), this will be a difficult situation, but I've still got faith in the majority of us Brits to work together in times like this...

Its surprising how many people will show kindness when the chips are down...

Surprised at that response Born. I thought private wealth, entrepreneurship, etc were the gods of the right? I thought the right viewed private wealth and therefore private hospital treatment as their just rewards for creating wealth in the first place?
