Nik_B 3,790
Woh hold up.....I have remembered one guy from Libya who was super intelligent and an all round great guy!g Gadaffi? Lol Ha ha, did you know he was killed by having a bayonet stuck up his arse after the Yanks did a drone strike on his convoy after coordinating the attack with Al Qaeda sorry 'Rebels' ? Anyway no this guy could have easily got to Europe working for our company, he was a really nice guy, very cleaver and not super religious or fanatic, my last conversation with him was quite sad, Libyans are now banned from working in much of the ME and it's very hard for the good ones to get out so he had to go and work for the nationalised power generating company and he told me how bad things were. When I was there, right up to the revolution coup it was fine, we could walk to the shops and drink coffee in the bars and it was safe. Another interesting thing about Libya was that bread was free, you could either buy a giant bag of it for peanuts but if you wanted a couple of roles they wouldn't charge you because they had a law to make sure everyone could eat even if they were poor.

You missed off we oil workers as well lol I've worked almost every Xmas for years Anyway we knew what we were signing up for but someone who works in a shop for poor money they deserve the day off unless our heritage means nothing anymore

low plains drifter 9,463
Before I pose this question it's not a Muslim bashing question and goes for any religion that does the same ... my knowledge of religion is next to nothing so muslims are the only ones I know that do this ..... Now the question .... If you had a business and by employing a devout Muslim who was the best at what he did in his field you could increase your profits 100 fold but obviously with that employment would come the need for the chap to pray 5 times a day would fast through Ramadan wouldn't tolerate pork products in the workplace etc etc etc would you employ him ......... that would depend on where the work was I would not employ one if I owned a sausage factory Being devout he probably wouldn't want to work there? They might be beef sausages. With natural pork casings

From what i researched, he was bringing in the gold dinar or something to trade with other countries for oil or something, an the yanks didnt want the petrodollar loosing out, so he had to go, apparently?
Kay 3,709
I would base any decision on whether they where qualified to do the job on offer or if its unskilled labour i would base it on my gut reaction & how they conduct themselves at the interview stage
scothunter 12,609
It wasn't a bayonet. It was shown on tv and he was shot in the head while draped over the bonnet of a car. While he was dragged to the car someone in thd crowd pushed a bit of wood in his arse through his trousers, but it didnt even go through them. If you consider going around schools and touching the heads of girls and boys for his bodyguards to later brìng them to him to f**k being a nice guy well we have different views on what a nice guy is! f**k the mad dog he got a fitting end!
