Air Gunners ?

Recommended Posts

Born, I'll give you a tip.......beat the wood out first and get them to an easier area! Lol

However, if you want to kill some gear then you will.......not saying it don't demand some knowledge but it certainly don't warrant half the fuss imho

Some things don't need talking about. Those that know, know. If you know what I mean. LOL

Deer can be very easily killed if a job needs doing. Not everyone goes out just to fill the bed of their pickup though, some actually enjoy a bit of a challenge.

There I was the pressure taken in, my breathing slowed to a cubic capacity relevant to the weight of the pellet and the curve of the Earth, fear tingled through my mechanix gloves as I placed my ran

No, understood mate but I will bet one thing about you.........you don't consider yourself some kind of Jedi knight just because you can manage to get within range of a shot do you ;)

LOL, no of course not. I just like hunting stuff and I tend to knock about with lads that are very 'real' in their attitude towards it. Lads that are too vocal in their opinions aren't suffered for long.

I love my deer 'stalking', I won't explain why, but I'm no fecking Jedi..... more a ninja.... with a tikka! LOL

Just wondering, whatever happened to live and let live in the UK, no harm to me or others, if it floats your boat, or are we becoming Taliban and ISIL? Let just give everything we believe in to them now as respect for others opinions and how they chose to spend their money in a way that they enjoy is gone here. Americans shoot Fifty Cal does that make any of the bang bang Lads shirtlifters because you do not?

Is this The Hunting Life or is it I am better than you so F**K OFF Forum?

Have a good Easter, or are we also going to give that to The Taliban and ISIL?

All the very best

I post on here as well and i am arrogant .

Airgun section has a good bunch of lads , helping each other out when we can

Whenever I look on the airgun section I do chuckle at how much of a mission folk make at shooting a few birds etc. But as you say it's one of the only sections where nobody seems to argue and everybody seems to help each other out be it with equipment or getting them out for a nights shooting. As much an andy mcnab novel they make of the write ups they all seem genuinely decent fellas.

No arguing on the snaring/trapping section, good lads on there,...just don't mention the moles lol

In all fairness theres some skilled air gun lads about who can put hell of a lot of gear in the bag and don't make to much of a fuss about it and they get my up most respect but on the flip side you have the bedroom window bird table sniper with all the gear and not a fecking idea who parade there kill like there a masai warrior who's just gone head to head with a lion with nothing but a spear..ain't got time for that! .. but lets be honest all hunting genre's have there fool's its not just air gunners .

Some stalkers as well are the same, boring the pants off you about how skilful it all is.........no it's f***ing not, it's common sense most of the time and knowing the habits of the beast.

I was once out with a pal thinning out some fallow on a big estate, we just drove right up to a big group in a gator and he dropped 7 of them one after the other (2 with his last bullet!)........they were right by the wood and the field wasn't enclosed but they were so confused they didn't know what to do and he just dropped them like nine pins.

None of this creeping about like a commando bollocks ![/quote

Wilf , tell me you don't really think he can do this every time he goes out , start of the season or if there not shot at a lot you may get a few goes but the longer the season goes or the more you get into them they'll be out of the field way before you pull a gun on them , as for shooting two with one shot was that deliberate or accident ..? If deliberate that's stupid ..

Are they all pompous, arrogant ,condescending ,shite talking f***ing half wits ? or are some of them relatively normal ? and if so ,why don't the normal ones ever post on here ?

Maybe ownership of an airgun isn't a pre-requisite to being a 'pompous, arrogant, condescending, shite-talking f***ing half-wit' ?

I see lots of posts from a small number of members that support my theory !

Yeah a lot of dog men don't have a gun of any sort, mostly for ahem, reasons..... ;)
