  1. Logistics industry would be f****d without our Eastern European cousins. As would food manufacturing, farming and several others.
  2. Good looking dog. Straight first cross?
  3. I'd love a wheaten, but don't have the work for one. When I retire and move to the continent I'll get one.
  4. You talk a lot of sense. I used to walk twice a day and twice a week use the flirt pole. 3 x sessions each time. Start at 30 secs and then build from there.
  5. You would be better off getting wooden dog cabins, and using them inside the galvanised runs. That way they can easily move with you.
  6. They're are doing very well and produced a fairly even litter. Hardy, fearless, clever, but a bit hard to keep occupied. Good with the gun, live stock, not seen ferrets yet, bark/bite on command, follow the beam, retrieved most things, not entered water yet but I have no doubts. In fact the only thing they are lacking is my ability to train two highly driven pups! All good guards, but sensible with and steady with it. I've liked them so much I'm running two this season. One of them is a bit hard to live with, but the dog I used is too. Before everyone jumps on it and thinks they are the
  7. According to google, he was sentenced to live imprisonment on 15 Feb this year. Can't find anything about his suicide though. If he had an ounce of honour he would have checked out before the trial...

  10. I wouldn't pay more than £50/acre/year. But I'm tight and prepared to electric fence where needed.
  11. That's £160/acre/year. What you growing on that to make a profit?
  12. Depends on the state of the fencing, the available water supply, the surrounding market and what you want to do with it. How much is it worth to you?
  13. Pigs, sheep, goats, free range laying hens...whatever your imagination and worth ethic will allow.
  14. Very true, that's why there is so many sh*t lurchers around, litters being bred solely for profit. Not saying that these pups are not quality bred or don't look cracking pups, but if these were my pups I would be looking for the right homes for the right price and not advertising on here for any tom dick or harry to come along with a fist full of cash and the pup possibly have the life of hell. Not to long since I bought in two runners of good breeding for £100, Yup £100 for two. Decided which one I was going to keep on and gifted the other one away to a local lad, both dogs are doing what th
  15. Scientifically proven to stop AIDS and prevent unwanted pregnancy...according to Ali.
  16. I think you know the point im making mate.......you or i couldnt go out this afternoon and buy a child.......but we could go out and buy a dog. Im talking about " property " in the eyes of the law not a heartless uncaring human being.........personally i think its far too easy to purchase dogs but thats another argument. I'm with Gnasher on this one. Dogs, like all animals, are property. Once the authorities consider them to be different you can bet your arse there will be negative consequences for our way of life. If the penalties for stealing a dog become more severe, then it is a sm
  17. Did you breed these dogs GVC? There was a litter from Kent advertised on here a few months ago. Anyone know how they are getting on?
  18. Yeah. There has been a lot if allegations of drugs use flying around. On a separate note, I read Lance's autobiography 'It's not about the bike' in 2008. I'm not what you could call a cycling fan, or even a sports fan, but I really really enjoyed it. He became a bit of a hero of mine and I was absolutely devastated when hr admitted doping...
  19. He had big bad weapons and you know no one else apart from the USA is allowed them Ermmm, except he didn't have any WMD. There were a few mustard gas mortar shells, and that's about it...
  20. Heard on the news the Turks are also bomong Kurdish sepratists in the north. Claiming they are only attacking PKK but I would be worried if I was wearing a peshmerga triangle...
  21. Large proportions of ISIL were Iraqi Republican guard. They have been reinforced by combat veterans from Chechnya, Bosnia and Yemen. They run their own training schools and are very much trained soldiers. Do not underestimate their capabilities. I'm sure DB will be along later with more info on the abilities of Iraqi Republican guard, as he has first hand experience...
