  2. Just been given an old HW 77 in 22,been told it's a 1983/84 model...shoots spot on,got some power to it,so thinking it's been tuned...given it to my 15 at old for rats and pigeons around the lake....

Water been travelling through the old brickwork, underneath a window,damp and mould coming through the paintwork,started knocking bricks out,and realised that the uPVC window is only fixed on the head, nothing on the sides and sat on top of brick headers(letting water into the cavity ....knocked up some brackets,stop the lot coming down on me ,wall starter kit ,new dpc and ready for some blocks...

  9. Slim pickings for fox around here,see a few in the town,in the bins and around the castle...was a time I could go to a few different spots and be guaranteed to find one to ground,don't bump into them often now early morning or last light,like I used too

Yrs ago when I was a teenager,my old duck gave my dogs cooked lamb bones....one splintered and got stuck in the wall of the dogs stomach....was an operation job in the endonly ever fed raw bones since....I sincerely hope it's not that Tony,and the dogs ok....could it of picked up poison of some sort?

Not seen a rabbit in it's physical form local for probably 2 months now no fresh droppings or scrapings from the little drummers either...very strange,last 5 seasons been more than I ever remember,They don't get hammered by any dog lads or the summer airgunners....only explanation is this new virus or the sheer amount of Badgers about? ....or a combination of both?.. whatever it is....it's not good

  13. There's a brand-new clutch in my old engine,clean the oil off it,£100/£150 for the labour to fit it Had an oil leak on the crankseal of my Octavia Vrs wagon last yr..that was around £750 for a new clutch and bits , labour from memory

Got a 2003 Rav d4d..payed £1200 for it,got full leather, everything worked on it...never spent a penny on it for 5 years bar fuel and servicing kit,jump in it,and drive anywhere you wanted, bombproof TBF...... until I let some joker change the clutch,and a few other bits discs, brake calipers few bushes...didn't bolt the gearbox up tidy...truck was ticking over on the MOT ramp...then went bang, complete new engine,gearbox and turbo Not to worry,my brother sourced me a complete truck,low mileage ,2 days later for £300,just been brought into the yard....£250 to swap out the engines etc.
