  1. True Romance is on Five USA - proper film!
  2. So you must think earrings on men are ok since you don't have a problem with my tattoos, isn't that right honey Maybe I should get another one ....
  3. Wonder what you'd say if, for instance, one of your top coursing dogs was lost - then found, and you were notified, and it was in a shelter. And before you'd managed to get there someone broke in and stole it. You'd be heartbroken. Or maybe you'd not give damn. I'd say that's miles worse.
  4. Thumbsdown for me But I hate seeing it on little boys even more.
  5. I like this one best 'cause the arguments are hilarious and I can swear and call people names and nobody bats an eye
  6. Rescue shelters don't take dogs off folks tho - only the aRSePCA. I could be wrong? Yes some people in rescue like to make a big hooha out of saving an animal. Yes, some people like a sob story. Some rescues are crap, some are good. And most certainly yes, a lot of the dogs that go through them have had traumatic times at the hands of knob heads. The fees, tho, don't usually cover the neuter/spay, vax, food ... not to mention medical treatment when it's needed. They treat it like a business but shouldn't they? After all they have overheads just like anybody else. Their business is helping
  7. I just want to say that teachers such as you've described are few and far between these days. I've had such a negative experience with my kids' primary school, I confess I feel rather jaded. Good teaching should be fully supported and encouraged - but instead bad teaching is protected and perpetuated. Red tape and ridiculous health and safety laws don't help either. And imo the holiday system is barking mad and needs to be revamped. There is NO reason at all for that amount of holidays. If it were reduced to the six weeks in summer with one or two term breaks during the year that would make mo

    parrot

Parrots are very tricky pets. You have to have boundless patience and interest in them. Like dogs, they're a way of life and not something to be bought on a whim. Not for young kids either. A parrot bite HURTS, and any young parrot will bite, that's a given. If you really think she - and you - are committed enough for one, I'd suggest and hand raised Senegal. I had one and she was ace. Not too big, not too small. They say senegals are more mimickers than talkers but I can assure you if you spend the time ... endless time, mind ... they'll talk up a storm. http://www.unitedparrotbreed
  14. These don't!! http://m.funnyordie.com/lists/71bd760bbe/31-brilliant-examples-of-engrish-fails
  15. Actually no, it wasn't ok to shut up the school for the Royal Wedding, imo. But that's tradition in this country. Between the wedding and the Easter half term the kids were in school 8 days in May. That's bang out of order.
  16. Spot on pal. Something else I've noticed when I go into town is the amount of pet border collies that are being walked about lately. I can't think of a more unsuitable dog to have as a pet. I suppose at least they were being exercised. Maybe it's part of the current collective healthy living fad that's all the rage. It's common knowledge that they need a lot of exercise... I have yet to meet a pet border collie that isn't woefully overweight and suffering a serious case of OCD. I know a lot of people use them for agility, which I think is perfect, but as an average family pet? Bad
  17. Jesus wept Troy - DON'T DO IT! Just ignore her, she's insane and she talks complete bollocks. It's probably not a great thing that dog is roaming about unsupervised. If that were my bitch he'd had a go at, there'd have been a massive bust up - and I've have been well angry about it. If it'd been my whippet he'd have probably humped the fooker right back But it seems to me the vizla wasn't right bothered, he was just playing. To be honest I found your hysterical giggling much funnier than the humping Hmmmmm pot calling kettle black there just a bit eh? As i said i keep my dog
  18. She's not fat for Christ's sake!! Don't be so paranoid. She's a baby - she should be just the way she is. Too many lads round my way think because it's a running dog it should be thin, which they mistake for fit. So you see a lot of 6-12 month pups with their ribs showing. It's fooking awful.
  19. The little monkey is about right, tell him he can have a ride on my dog if he is there this year. I'm coming too - can I watch?!
