  1. They were in their garden and he apparently lured them out. My kids have always been told that they should never go with anyone they don't know - that includes other kids. You like to think they can play safely in their own garden but I guess not. And in this case it's hard not to assume guilty until proven otherwise.
  2. What topic is that one in? http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/211978-its-a-shame/
  3. I'm not sure if we do LF, but I plan on approaching the local MP about it. She only lives up the road. I realise these people have to go somewhere, but I can't see the logic of placing someone like that in an area like this - woodland, parks, and plenty of kids. Personally I'd rather see them swinging from a tree by their neck, but you can't have everything I guess.
  4. You have to wonder if the 'small porsche' is a euphemism ...
  5. My new favourite quote: "I'd like to lick your head in" :11:
  6. I like pretty much all the cast on Inbetweeners, Southland, Sons of Anarchy. Cartoons, it's gotta be Chowder, The Regular Show, Simpsons and classic Bugs Bunny
  7. No Undi I surely don't think they could make it up. I do think, tho, that given his age and the need to be careful with it all, they released him into his family's care until they have their shit together. I just hope they've got what they need to lock him up. If they do move here, as much as it pains me because I love where I live, I would pack up and leave. I could not cope with the constant fear I'd have - or the feral anger I feel at the very idea of that child touching my kids.
  8. I don't like the vigilante idea Ric ... but I did wonder if there was some 'right' way to oppose him being here. I'm not really one much for throwing bricks etc - unless needs must I wouldn't even speak to them. But he'd basically be living under my nose and me with three small kids. There is little doubt about his guilt - this again from the inside of things - but I guess the course has to run and the system is slow. In the meantime, I really don't want him anywhere near me.
  9. I'd work out what other nibbles he likes - then I'd carry a mixed bag instead of just the cheese. Bits of things he likes, so that every time it's a different reward. I'd also keep up with mostly-food rewards, adding in the fusses as you have, for a good while. Then gradually phase out the food and phase in the fuss. Once things click between you and solidify, I reckon you'll be up and away
  10. I hope you don't wear hairspray - leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

  11. It'd be hard to stay away ... the house is next door but one
  12. As i 'm not aloud to say what i do, i'll have to be like everyone else on here then i dont get dogged.. even tho i try to keep away from bother!! Wilf would be all over you "licking" his head in . . . he digs weird shit like that, especially if you had a dummy in your mouth too.
  13. I've kissed her before!

  14. From what I've heard, there's little doubt that he's done it. The problem is his age. There is a lot of poncing about regarding evidence, social services, investigating the family etc. There's a lot not been put in the article. There's talk about him going into a secure unit but nothing concrete. I've got a friend with a friend, so to speak who's asking questions and trying to get more information. But if he does get put here, their life will be made a living hell. This is a nice quiet street ... for the rest of us. Won't be for them, if they come here.
  15. I can't work out why they'd put him here - it's only down the road from where he lives now. Literally. This neighbourhood is much sought after; I had to wait ages to get in, houses here are like hens teeth. And they just bypass the waiting list! Under the circumstances it makes it seem even worse if you ask me.
  16. Honestly Si ... my stomach's been in knots all day over it. I really fail to see how they can put him in an area like this without consulting anyone. It makes me sick.
  17. This happened very local to me ... A BOY who allegedly subjected two four-year-old children to a “sickening” sex attack near their Burnley home is at the centre of a police rape investigation. The 10-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is said to have lured the pair from a garden in the Whittlefield area to nearby woodland where he forced them into a series of degrading sex acts. The youth was questioned by police after the alleged victims, who were found naked and distressed on June 2nd, claimed he had forced them to play a sexual game called “monsters” under threat o
  18. It's the people carrying the handbags that want culling imo
  19. I've carried my pups around - my first lurcher rode in the nappy bag on the bag of my double pram The terrier I've got now went round in a canvas bag slug across my front. Only till they were old enough for their jabs so they could walk, mind. I didn't half get some funny looks trooping up the road with a 26" lurcher, a 22" whippet, three kids, and a puppy in a bag I carry them around when they're young to get them used to the sights and sounds of life - people, traffic, other dogs, etc. I find it makes them more steady. The terrier's 11 weeks now and he walks where I walk. I put him down an
  20. Found Monday afternoon on a local estate. Black and white. Currently with the people who found it, they've registered with the local dog warden. PM me if you require information.
  21. Out for the first time alone with the whippet. Scared at feck coming through the woods to the farm. Over the fence and into the first field - visions of glory in my head, as you do. Lights up a rabbit sitting tight. Starts the excited, quick walk towards the target, dog's got his ears up but not sure what he's looking at. Rabbit lifts, running right towards some woods, dog pulls, so I slip!! ... and the b@stard ran left after a rabbit that he'd heard but I hadn't seen, into the darkness and away before I know what's happening. I'm swinging the lamp round like a lunatic and, forgetting myself,
  22. There's nothing cruel or inhumane about shock collars. It's stoopid, untrained humans who operate them that are the problem. They've wrecked it for everybody else.
  23. isn't that RFYL's new ride?? :11: :11:
