  3. Yep REW, just got back into keeping a running dog after a 6yr brake, looking forward to starting again come Sept

  6. The first lamp I had made it myself using a 1949 BSA Bantam D1 motorcycle headlight 6v, about 2 candle power, bright as a Toc H lamp. The lamp in the pic I got back in 1983 it's a Clulite, got an old 50's army rucksack with steel frame, welded a plate at the bottom to hold a car battery, bloody well nearly killed my back first night out with the weight of the battery and Rabbits, soon got a 12v motorcycle battery instead. Still got the same Clulite lamp 32 yrs old, will be using it again come Sept. Atb chisler

  12. I've seen that done, farmer near me did it to his jacko pup, worked a treat, not sure about older dog though.

Jasper.PDFWith the prospect of starting to work Bryn next season thoughts and happy memories of my past dogs have come to mind, My best dog to date was Jasper 1/4 Deer/ 1/4 rough coated collie- 1/2 Grey. to me he was my true all rounder, I'm not remembering him through rose tinted glasses but he was, never backed down from any thing put in front of him did the lot with him day and night, I learnt a lot from him, he was my best mate. It was back 1981 looking through the Exchange Mart saw Lurcher for sale ad, phoned the chap and he said where's your nearest train station? why, he said I'ill stic

    First Aid

    As said ST John's Ambulance do quite a few different levels from the basics up to first responder , 1 to 5 day courses. Members of the public can apply, they are reasonably priced and if you successfully complete you get a 'sticky foot' and a recognized qualification. The people that run these courses I found to be friendly and willing to pass on their knowledge.Enjoyable and worth while.
