To check your internet speed (and so hopefully rule it out as the main problem) use http://www.speedtest.net/ . Nik_B 's diagnosis is likely to be the issue and a clean re-install is a good solution, but you need to secure all your personal files and data first which is not necessarily straightforward and then reinstall all your software, so this is not for the faint-hearted. If you are prepared to pay for it, AVG tune up is good, but one of the features does require you to make some decisions about choosing which start up and background programs to stop and some of the recommendations

Some years ago I watched jackdaw knock a young starling out of the sky and then eat it! I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself. The only common corvids I don't shoot are jays and rooks, although I have read that rooks will take eggs!

I used play 2 - 3 matches a week when I was younger, but not keen on watching it!

Congratulations to you and your family!

I agree with previous posters, ask them what they were doing and why. This looks useful : http://www.inbrief.co.uk/police/police-entry-and-search-powers/ and I am sure it applies to land/yards etc.

My mum had a 100% blockage in her left circumflex artery, the scan has shown minor damage to her heart after her attack. They have just discovered she has diabetes which could have contributed massively to her attack which makes me feel a little better about it being hereditary.I think the best bet for me is to go to the doctors complaining of the symptoms of heart trouble and once there telling them about my Mum and Grandad. I want the full works, blood pressure, cholesterol, blood test, stress test, ecg etc..... You are a lucky boy, you were literally a dead man walking. If you'd not detect

A treadmill test is very effective to diagnose cardiac problems. I had a significantly blocked LAD (left anterior descending) artery at 44 and I had been walking a round with symptoms for 6 months without realising what it was. The ECG thought I'd already had a heart attack! However 6 months after stent number 1 and it was back to normal, so I was re-diagnosed as severe unstable angina. Definitely get it done, I had friends who have died at similar ages from heart attacks. Here's a picture of my plaque. (A blockage like that in the LAD is known as the widow maker) :

It's perfectly possible and can be achieved in a number of ways. Some forum software allows admins to check the IP addresses of members posting and determine if they have posted from the same IP before. However if the poster has dynamic IP addresses, which is normal for home broadband, this may not help.

What New Laws Would Hunting Life Members Bring In Now Weve Left.
Lid replied to nans pat's topic in General Talk
One wrong conviction is, imo, enough, to prevent capital punishment ever being reintroduced. And once the state can kill legally, then a corrupt state can theoretically kill whoever they want. Prison reform on the other hand could make prisons actually pay for themselves, or at least be more cost effective than they are now My new law to introduce is Proportional Representation along with compulsory voting. If you don't want to vote, you can always spoil your ballot paper, but simply not turning up is unacceptable, as is being governed by a so called majority government who only obtained -
Capitalism, imo, has gone too far when illogical and wasteful practices are endorsed and encouraged, such as multiple energy suppliers and mobile networks, and profiteering from the provision of other essential services. What is needed is a common sense system that blends the best parts of all doctrines. However as TC says, greed and selfishness seem to prevent this from ever happening.

Well Australia has compulsory voting. However I concede that it is debatable whether it is a good thing or not. However I disagree on selecting the electorate based on certain conditions. -

While 72% is good turnout as elections go, it is a great shame that 12.9 million registered electors decided not to vote. And now for Article 50 .....................

I hope she will have an exception for kids with bad food allergies. My daughter cannot eat catering food even if they try to exclude her allergens.

Have you considered a 3 series? My missus had got a 2011 320D touring and it is certainly not weak at all, with around 180 horses, nor too small. The 5 series seem a bit too big now for my liking, and I guess the 520 may be bit sluggish. In the 90s I had a 525 Touring and loved it, but I reckon the newer 3 series are nearly the same size as it was now..

In my view neither atheism nor theism can be proven nor disproven, so I take the position of not even trying to. It's not sitting on the fence, it is being realistic.

My point remains, there is no way any of us can know one way or another even if we have had things such as near death and out-of-body experiences. I maintain that I have seen a ghost twice, and nothing will convince me that I did not. However when I tell the story, many people quite rightly do not believe it, and even I still keep an open mind as to what I really may or may not have have seen. On the specific subject of creationism and evolution, there is no reason to consider them mutually exclusive at all. If there is a God, It would probably exist outside of time (indeed It would have m

I don't think so, I rather think its like the Prisoner serving WHOLE LIFE with NO CHANCE of parole, and being told not only does he have to support himself but he has to pay for all the rest of the prison inmates, saying... "I'd rather stay in because I know what its like here, but I'm not sure what its like in the real world outside!" PS It seems you also agreed with the population point I made, its isn't a population thing, it is................. Specific population size has little bearing from what I see, what a countries products/services, ideals, assets, attitudes, etc are

Well you may be right, but I think it is similar to comparing fishing in the in a farm pond with fishing in stocked commercial lake. So many things are different such as geography, demographics, infrastructure, GDP, etc and so I don't think that comparing them on a equal or even proportional basis works. As the OP says we are not being given any decent information from either side and so it is very difficult for the undecided to make an informed a decision. On a side note I have some relatives in Scotland and they claim that most people there want to stay in. However I am sure how represen
