    Most of those people move to another job though after a short time. If the postpeople or the binpersons are the same for a couple of years and do a good job, then I will tip them at Christmas.

    I did it in 2001 when I was 40 (ahem). However I never got myself a bike (yet). I did ride a couple of quick bikes for a bit, but they were sports bikes and at 6' 4" I am knackered just sitting on them! I am thinking again about getting something more appropriate for me though. I quite fancy a classic or something not new like a 1970s Suzuki GT750.

    STEINER Safari UltraSharp 8x22 Binoculars £50 including UK standard postage As new, boxed, opened, but completely unused. These excellent binoculars were bought in August 2013 to replace a lost pair. However the original pair were found afterwards and this new pair were never touched. There was a manufacturer's 10 year warranty, so officially there is nearly 8 years remaining. Nothing in the paperwork or on the Steiner European website says that the warranty is not transferable.     That article by all4shooters.com bears little relation to the 2013 white paper which it refers to and even provides a link to. However I do wholeheartedly agree that we need to speak up now to try to prevent further restrictions on legitimate firearms use and ownership in the UK.

Not law yet ;-) A ban on private ownership of all semi-automatic firearms, even when not military-style: all of them, pistols, rifles and shotguns, centerfire or rimfire. Declare magazines and other components as "fundamental parts", making them available only to licensed gun owners, contradicting the 2008/51/CE directive.     As you suggest, I find Facebook absolutely useless for tracking and following conversations. I am a member of a number of shooting and hunting Facebook pages and none of them can get close to even a mediocre forum. Horses for courses I say and Facebook is an ass.

    If you are after a small set I have a brand new, completely unused Steiner Ultrasharp 8 x22. I'd let them go at £50 including postage to UK. PM if interested. I bought these in Sep 2013 to replace a pair that were lost, but then they turned up. There was a 10 year warranty according to the book.
