As a one-legged, Palestinian, lesbian single parent, we have a lovely four bedroom council house waiting on you with a motability car sitting in the drive.

Unfortunately, if Scotland ever did become independent, public spending would have to be slashed in a way that would make most Scotsmen beg to be allowed back into the UK under a Tory government. That's not forgetting all the powers that will be handed back to Brussels with no rebate

Landlord Refuses To Let To Ethnicities That Eat A Lot Of Curry.

I think people should be free to discriminate if they want to discriminate. I'm not in favour of hate laws or anti discrimination laws. If you don't like people's views you should educate them rather than legislate against them. -
The nationalists will be hoping this will shore up support for the upcoming council elections, and distract from their abysmal record on health, education and public services.

I was lucky that I had the time to look after my father before he went so I knew he was getting well cared for. I'd like to do the same for my mother as she reaches that age but it depends on getting time off work etc. For me I hope I go while I'm still in good health and never become bedridden.

It's my understanding that the Democrats and their allies in the media are using allegations of collusion between the Russian government and Trumps campaign team as a stick to bash Trump. So far no evidence of any wrongdoing has surfaced, and until it does, I'll remain sceptical. On the other side, Trump's team have alleged leaking against them from the intelligence services. We'll need to wait and see if anything comes from that.

I dunno what folk see in her, I've never found her attractive.

It sounds like Trump was right, that he was being monitored: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-03-22/nunes-trump-transition-members-and-possibly-trump-himself-were-under-surveillance-du

If someone tells me they're interested in getting a dog, I tell them if you want a dog to work get one off working stock; if you want a dog as a pet, get one from the pound. They rarely listen.

When I was last running it was on the balls of my feet on grass as I don't have very good joints. Now I use low impact cardio machines at the gym as they're far more forgiving on the knees. If my joints continue to go downhill as I get older I'll take up swimming.

Scotland joining the EU would mean losing the UK's rebate and making it a contributory member, unable to make it's own trade agreements, having to take in it's allocation of asylum seekers, and free movement of people from the EU (and whoever else wants manages to illegally get into the EU). You're telling me that's in Scotland's interests?!

You're a funny man Joe. Expect big cuts in public spending if Scotland became independent, with it's large spending deficit and share of national debt, as well as no more subsidies from the rest of the UK or EU. I see another basket case like Greece as it would have to adopt the Euro with all that it entails. Two things, the SNP are in a minority coalition government so are hardly representative of the whole of Scotland. Secondly, people voted on independence knowing full well that a vote to stay in the UK meant that there would be a referendum on leaving the EU in the coming years. Voting

The last independence referendum polarised my views on nationality. As someone who was born in Scotland and lives in Scotland I consider myself 100% British. I don't consider those down south to be English, but fellow Brits, no different to us up here. I say bring on the next referendum, at least when the remain result comes back in, it'll be the last time you have to put up with Auld Nick (aka Cunty McCuntface) on the TV again.

I do a bit of gardening and go to he gym (though that's more of a routine than a hobby). I often have a poke around old buildings and mines as well. It gets me into parts of the countryside I'd never consider going to. Hope to get back into the dogs next year, maybe get a wee whippet or something.

I'll second a Spyderco sharpmaker if your knife has the right edge profile. If not you can buy diamond stones for the set to regrind the edges. It keeps my folding knives razor sharp.

I'm quite happy with the UK giving aid to refugee camps in countries neighbouring war zones. Same with the UK taking in large numbers of refugees if there was a war in neighbouring countries such as France and Holland. I'd also be happy to lock up illegal immigrants here (who're not legitimately claiming asylum) in labour camps to break rocks until they cover the cost of their deportation.

I wonder how long it'll be till we see the first American Pitbull Chiuahaus over here. A terrifying and fearsome breed (bound to make a few newspaper headlines): http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/c/chipit.htm

It depends where you find the money. I found a £50 note in a car park at night a few months ago and it went straight into my pocket. A month back there was £ sitting in a bank machine so I took it out and handed it into the bank. When I went back to draw some money out of the machine a gentleman asked if I had seen any money lying. He seemed surprised when I told him I had handed it in.

It was actually alright, you'd end up spending the day playing poker for vitamin pills, draughts or patience. We got a TV when a recon squad was locked in for some reason. The only scary bit was when they brought in someone drunk one night and beat the crap out of him with a baseball bat, then dumped him in our cell to lie in his pool of blood (they done this to people who had done bad things, I found out one of them had been drink driving). I could hear the guards mention "British" in their language, footsteps came up came up to the cell, and the lights came on as my heart pounded expecting t
