  1. Sorry to hear that, I hope he makes the right decision.
  2. A bit off topic, but Brian do you see any difference in stamina etc between the different breedings?
  3. Nice run that last one mate, some good footage
  4. I do like that little border whippet mate, looks like a cracking wee bitch.
  5. Cracking. Been taking my pup out but they never seem to be more than 20yrds out and youyou'd be lucky to get within 100yrds
  6. Cracking pics, my old dog had a coupe of them round the lakes, had a grey patch on her backside for years where one had clamped on.
  7. You're absolutely right - she's everything I could possibly have wanted. Already a great busher and shows real promise as a ferreter - fantastic nose on her and she gives really good solid marks when I'm out with the ferrets. She caught two more rabbits today, both healthy for a change. One adult and one baby. I took a bit of video footage of the walk - will have a look at it later and if it's any good I'll stick it up here.... When your'e out bushing does your terrier work through most of the cover regardless or just cover that holds scent or game ect, mine used too when she was younger
  8. I have had some mates out there the last couple of weeks, they have had stingers to 100lb and 32lb smoothies. Good vid mate
  9. and your dog ends up stinking when it sprays it
  10. I often wonder if the second gen are better because if it's done right the best dogs are used and they follow that mould
  11. Trefor is gone more or less, I had my first huss there 10 years ago, had plaice bass and a shite load of other stuff there too. I have had rays of of Ty Croes, Ravens and Cable bay, I have my favourite huss mark, they can be like dogfish, but keep spitting the hooks, but I keep that one to my self lol. I'm out on My Way from Holyhead on the 11th of April, the GF bought it for me as a present for my B'day.
  12. What part of the welsh coast do you go tozer? Anglesey, but i'll be trying a few marks on the Lleyn in the summer. Love fishing both Anglesey and the Lleyn. Had many a good times up there. It has got to be some of the most varied fishing in the country, I think this year I'll be mostly after rays, huss and I want a tope off the shore
  13. Nice post. I'd love to have to time to do this but work gets in the way. I could spend many hours up there
  14. What part of the welsh coast do you go tozer? Anglesey, but i'll be trying a few marks on the Lleyn in the summer.
  15. Nice pic, good to see a few fishermen, I'll be up and down the rocks of the Welsh coast this summer, take the dogs, the terrier is like a mountain goat
  16. Minced fish is the best bet, with some bread or bran to bulk it out. I have a Spong No. 10 mincer that also does for the dog food. They do, I bought the light lure stuff for perch and chub, but I have taken some flounder and bits on it, weirdly hadn't tried for wrasse till this winter.
  17. Nice video that, some good action/
  18. I like the early mornings in summer, late May to early July, admittedly I have usually got a fishing rod in my hand!
  19. He is a good dog and working well for you, he has just taken a bit more of the bull in the head. Was the sire fairly bully?
  20. That's quite heavy set for 1/8th bull? Cracking dog.
  21. I think it's a good mix, that's a cracking lookin dog, both of the ones in this thrad look very whippety, I can't wait till next season for mine. It dawned on me, if I said I had a whippet/greyhound no one would bat an eye lid, but whippet/saluki and you get a lot more thought.
  22. for a first cross that has taken a lot of the whippet A good size too, I am hoping mine makes 22"
  23. that was a few sessions I have loads more, i just hadn't noticed this section before
