  1. If in doubt buy a HW 100 in " Any Format" !
  2. Just buy any HW 100, in any format lads and no more problems whatsoever ! That`s the gun they are !
  3. Ha! Ha! - You don`t stop trying mate do you What gets me Jimmy/ lads, £550 for a mk1. A Brand, spanking new Pro Sport rifle and walnut there`s little difference in price ? Surely, the latest Pro Sport is deemed better than it`s previous models ? "Isn`t it " ?
  4. This is why I wont touch anything that "WILL" double load, as in the thick of adrenalin, and quick, successive shooting, - it is so easily done. Phil , it`s a brand new gun, take her to your RFD again,- your not the first to do this by any means and let him sort it mate . Don`t beat yourself up over it neither, as accidents do happen.
  5. Why would a Walnut mk1 PS .177 have an asking price of £550 lads ? Also noticed a mk1 HW eighty .22 £180 atb Mark

  7. You have Rez Will a drawing pin be ok ? Please forgive the few mill flyer. Hold a 5p up to your screen and check out the old girl`s accuracy. Remember below ?
  8. Very Daystate looking on first appearance . Agreed, very good looking rifle indeed.
  9. Nice to see you out trying to hunt " for once" - statically, in a hide I see I prefer the camo effect to the tropical, electric thunder storm ! Neither finish will make you shoot more vermin but the camo is nowhere near as amusing. Twat x
  10. Realistically, what is required to accurately shoot vermin/ targets with sub 12 ft/lb rifles ? I have two FWB Sport " spring powered" air rifles over 40 yrs old that cost £250 and £270 each that more often than not put 8 shot groups inside a 5p target at 40 yds - what more would an air gunner need unless they were in high level competition shooting ?
  11. Ya dirty get Matt - fecking sloppy seconds on a yeti Your getting as bad as that Jonjon
  12. Went to one of my natural hides today that is well out of the way in one of the deepest woods with just my camera.. So, so quiet, you could hear everything. Kaiser`s head raised suddenly and he could smell something, he was literally tasting the air with the scent he was picking up. He gently stood and pointed with a low, deep growl - pointing to my right. I called him off with the slightest whisper. Two large figures deep in the undergrowth, were having it off , not more than 1
  13. Joking aside mate," respect" you surely can. Yer still a twat though x
  14. MK3 and MK4`s are supposed to be the Hunting Lads choice in Daystate with the lads at my club. Better choice is HW 100 in any format, forever and a day in my and many other`s opinion
  15. Hard to better that group Rabid. Nice shooting indeed
  16. Errr £140 They did a " proper job too" Would you like to see your fav` photo again ? p.s. You can`t shoot feck all with sand paper
  17. Ha! Ha! What I like best about Mac`s posts are there are none, just sandpaper and oil That`s it I suppose, Oh and his field craft - polishing silently atb Mark Twat x
  18. That bloke with the Bentley car put me on to FAP`s .22 in my HW 100 ( Superb combination), same in the FWB Sport 127. I`ve still to shoot the JSB Express through my HW 100 KT - still using up my batch of AA Fields ( superb by the way). I have, however, used the Express exclusively through the T Rex 200 HC MK3 .177 and that is one lethal combination as well as with the FWB Sport 124. Hope that helps anyone P.S. Great shooting lads !
  19. As per Billy One nice Rapid there.
  20. Good luck with the new gun Should have bought the TX 200 by a country mile though ! " Only spooning like " x
  21. Do you remember Davy saying to Mitch was it ? Give it time to learn it`s character and way it shoots when talking about buying a .177 HW 95 whilst already owning a .22 HW 95 ( forgive me if I`m wrong Mitch) ? I have three spring rifles Phil and two PCP`s and the second you put one down for a week or two you need a session or two to bring her back. It is a drawing pin at 38 yds not a 5p piece but there you go. Here`s the 124 when I was shooting "just her" 8 shots under a 5p piece at
  22. Copy the scenario on paper targets Mark. Remember the Gofer and the hammer in your hand at the fair ground, well you`ve got the same thing with an air rifle, primos sticks and seated. As lads we lived close to a great big opencast tip and this was our practice routine. We borrowed a few cones from school say red, white, green. Place them at differing close ranges, with say a rats head showing, or a rat feeding side on and a rat feeding face on ( just examples) Have a mate call "
  23. The vermin don`t like `em Matt I`ve learned a very sneaky lesson with the FAP`s too mate . I had no other .22`s pellets when I got the FWB 127 and initial tests showed they were not compatible . Now after 50 shots after a clean barrel they were so, so. After 200 shots they were 2p piece groups. 500 shots up until today that 127 is in a league of it`s own - drawing pin head groups all the time. Had I just gone off a 20 or 30 pellet test pack I`d never have known.
  24. Very enjoyable paperwork session this afternoon, thoroughly enjoying the spring rifles this last few months. Primos sticks, two point gun rest, 38 yards. Drawing pin head target.
