Well lads, the bedding in is done, the zeroing is done and my mind is made up about these two rifles as I own both. It has taken around 500/ full tin of JSB Exact Express 7.87g , 4.52 to settle the brand new Pro Sport in and may I tell you , one class act she is. Here`s the zero kicking in from a bench rest and rifle rest, - all shot outdoors, today. 1st zero. 2nd set zero. Hold up a 5p piece lads - that zero is 1/4 the 5p coin. Below is the final zero, two shots at two pin

The brand new, shiny, Pro Sport`s initial zero.

The T Rex is a joy to use lads, just freakin deadly accurate. The Pro Sport I`ve had out once in two weeks because of weather and work so no where near making my mind up as to keep her as standard yet ? Out of the box and not 50 pellets through her she performs like this on a drawing pin head at 38 yds. - Is there that much improvement to be made ? Two clicks down and wow ! Dead rabbit every time. Timmy is your Pro Sport still standard mate ? -
FWB Sports John ?

Pigeon paradise in the background Jimmy, . At least you`ve shot a spud and a tin of Butchers dog food Twat X

I shoot over 3 farms and 1 garden nursery, for 40 years the farms and that gives me plenty to take care of. Don`t get tempted into too much shooting rights as those same farmers say to each other, " Yes we had that fella for a while, we got rid as you hardly ever saw him" Be patient Mark, and plenty of good advice already given. I also shot for the Churches with ferel problems and as said leads to farm/ land/ factory permissions. Good luck.

Take a look at Sweden - that`s us in 10 to 15 years time, unless things change quickly !!! In my opinion, there will be "civil war" in this country in the not to distant future. Brexit, ( for me) was the signature of the nations rejection to immigration.

Any ideas of identification lads, please ?

A tweak or two still required with this old, classic set up of Tom`s old Bushmaster ( not Bushnell ) 4x38 and the FWB Sport 124. The crosshair on the old scope more than buried a 5p piece, never mind a drawing pin head and a bit of guesswork was used at that range but close enough to do a job, that`s for sure atb Mark.

Should I upgrade to an hw100
mark williams replied to Will333's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
I shoot the KT .177 and KS .22 and totally agree with all the lad`s advice if you like to walk about. However, on a personal note I prefer the KT, as standard and purposely leave my pod on to make it as heavy as possible because I get some really great results static hunting. Heavier, the better and steadier, when static hunting off a bipod or shooting sticks etc, etc. You`ll never double load a HW 100, or outshoot one and I stick to 4 x 14 shot magazine rule, again yet to run out of shots when hunting.( 52) + -

If you give big fella a burger Del, make sure you have an extra pair of socks for him Only saying like, Twat x

I am learning you know. Twat - and take care of my 97 V-Glide. x

From 27.3 yds onwards, only hold over will ever be required with .22, or .177, when did you last shoot a wood pigeon at 12 - 15 yds - please teach me field craft this good . Don`t forget incline or decline - remember !
-
Hmmm .22cal you say ? A 27 yd zero gives no hold under - only " hold over" need be applied after that,- ah yer cant shoot for shit. Twat ! x
-
No need I have `em already - don`t you remember ? Was your mate the same one as behind that pub that night, - Bob Nosher
-
The high pigeons Si, - your point of impact is high. The normal shots,- you are bang on with your zero`s - check that you tube video mate. P.S. Hic !
-
Well sounds like incline, decline trajectory trouble Si. Check out Si Pitterway incline shooting on You Tube, - I cant be arsed I`m on my 3rd tin of apple juice x
-
What calibre is your 35 Si ? What calibre is your 510 ? Now "truthfully",- what zero range are they at ?

First shots/ zero started on the Pro Sport .177
mark williams replied to mark williams's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Got to admit Si, this Pro Sport is really growing on me. I shot one a week or two back at the club range and I just couldn`t miss with it. -
Got a quick grouping done for just 10 min`s between rain and snow, also very windy - but I`m in no rush. Here`s a string of 8 shots at just 12 yards - all I want is a vertical zero - "ish" in these winds. I`m going to give the afternoon up lads with this weather but believe me I feel this gun is right up there with my T Rex. Couple of clicks right yet and then onto horizontal zero. atb Mark.
