  7. Sorry to hear this jimmy, it's a stunner alright, but like most beautiful things they can be temperamental, some good Fettling could bring that back round, and vis is the man for the job. Could be worse, I just shelled a grand on a rifle that's got better spread than a 12 bore !

  14. Antiseptic healing spray, all sheep farmers have it if you have a farm perm, cattle, horses, dogs, you name it every farmer I know has it. If you get stuck I can send you a can.
  15. I think my main concern would be the hole/wound it left, keeping it clean and stopping any infection, what does it look like, is it dry and clean/healed, if not a quick squirt with some blue spray would be my first action
  16. Thanks Rabid, the wolf paw Opinel holding up alright? Griff Yes, no problems at all, although I try not to use it too much for fear of breaking/losing it.
  17. I liked that last one griff, David is a lucky man,
  18. I would think you would want to up the budget a little and get a brinsea, I have the fully auto one, used it last season with excellent results, but it is about 5-600 hundred quid, holds a few more eggs than your after.
  19. We're still getting a good few on the grass, but not in huge numbers, plenty of Spring drilling going on around here but hardly seen a pigeon on any of it
  20. Seriously, shop around, that's robbery even with those.
  21. Boar taint is age related not weight related, as rule of thumb anything under 12 months is fine, don't let them go over
