    Is there such a thing as a 'friendly' match against the Krauts ? Last time they played, there was a copper on TV, explaining that more officers had been drafted in, as (in his exact words) "there is a history of violence between the 2 countries" ..................................... !! (Edited to make clear that I don't condone violence, just that the quote made me smile!)

    I've worked for a couple of firms owned by Indians/Pakistanis - they are very good at finding ways to keep their overheads down and they drive a very hard bargain - a deadly combination if you're trying to do business with them ! Wouldn't trust 'em as far as I can spit 'em !

    They sent my census form back! In answer to the question 'Do you have any dependants?', I put asylum seekers,gypos,smackheads,workshy scroungers,the entire cast of the Jeremy Kyle show, Northern Rock,RBS and half of Eastern f***ing Europe.Apparently this is not an acceptable answer!

    That don't impress me much Tears in my eyes .... In a perfect world I'd like my last view to be the one thing I love to look at more than anything ... the English countryside on a sunny spring evening. Hopefully when I'm good and old but not a burden, knowing that all my kids are sorted and ok. I'd rather just go to sleep and have done with it. Best if I was beside the love of my life. There's a fair few folks and dogs I'm looking forward to seeing again on t'other side. Don't want much then,LG ?
