    Might help if I add that she rests for 3 or 4 days, she's fine again.When we set off she is OK and moving well. We get back, she lies down for an hour and wakes up as stiff as a board!

    My problem relates to one of my pet dogs, but I'm hoping that the experience some of you guys have with working dogs will be able to provide some advice. One of our dogs is a Mastiff X bitch - she is 6 years old and weighs a little over 40kgs, so she is not overweight. We usually walk every day, up to about 3 miles, but in the last few weeks I've noticed her struggling, so I've been reducing the distance and frequency of her exercise, to help her recover. We're now down to 1.5 miles every other or even every third day, but this evening she can barely walk and her back legs appear very

    I had the plans for a smaller version of this..........think it was called a 'ring slinger'. It had a pinky hole and was built as a take-down type, in 12mm ply, if memory serves. Don't know what happened to the drawings, but this has jogged a memory - might give it a go, if I can find it !

I've just asked the wife for a gun lamp for Xmas too! Back to aftershave I guess !! Gun lamp?!! ... Save yer money... get a headtorch (£15ish) ....and use the catapult.... Far more discreet I've got 2 i take fishing - one of them is wind-up, 'cos I'm a secret tree-hugger !!

    I was pressured into it by BPR lol, i tried my best and thats what matters,it might not be pretty but it will do its job I was only ribbing you, mate ! Like I said, I wouldn't be confident enough to enter any of mine in Secret Santa - I can only boast a couple of mates who use them to fire boilies to the carp !
