    I would'nt say lines mean nothing, if a line is known to produce dogs with certain traits, then atleast you've got some chance of knowing what to expect should you get a pup from the said line

    My local fields were very well stocked with greys up until about ten years ago then all the wet summers have taken their toll, used to like seeing them about, and some of the coveys were very large, good luck, and i hope your plan works out

    Add a few slices of lard now and then mate, only 30 odd pence from asda and it helps put a good back on a dog, also could mix a bit of dry working dog food with the mince, and odd bit of brown bread

    I had a bitch pup in a litter i bred with this type of hernia, it could be pressed back in which the vet said was a good thing, and if it had been a hard lump that stayed put she would've had to have surgery, the people that bought her were'nt put off as they had a working bitch that had been living with this type of hernia for years with no problems atb

    See these quite often when drifting about with the dog, she put one up the other day on a cattle field at dusk, it only flew a few metres then landed on a gorse bush, i got to within about 8 feet of it before it took off, always good to see these

    Was thinking golden pheasants myself, very ornamental birds they are, know a man who tried keeping red leg partridges in an enclosure, he said they were savage with eachother, and some were running around with their eyes hanging by the sockets

    Think i've tried most if not all of the Badger ales, and they are the business, had their Golden Glory lastnight which is a good one for summer, their Poachers Choice is a heart warmer for the cold weather. Hope you're not going to drink all of them bottles this afternoon, dont want you coming on here all slack eyed and silly later on lol
