  8. They're nice mate, I was thinking about belt buckles with gamebirds etc on them How does the oak bark leather compare in price to the thick veg tan ?

Had a hornet come into the woods, don't remember ever seeing one before, seen it a couple of times throughout the day then noticed one of the dogs attacking it, big slow moving thing didn't know what it was, looked like a huge wasp or a young dragonfly at first sight, and noisy when flying, fukca come right up and eyeballed me got a hell of a size sting, wouldn't like to be on the receiving end of that This was in Northumberland, has anybody else come across one of these ?
