    Had a buck knife , albeit not a folder but it was a great knife , so after twenty years work I replaced it with a new one , identical knife , the only difference was it was not the same quality as the American made one , I believe they are now made in China and the quality shows ..

    I used to regularly pick up family from Gatwick and would get them to ring me when they landed , half an hour later I’d pick them up at the bus stop for the long stay car park ..this unfortunately has got a lot harder since the rebuild and the patrols have got eyes like a shite house rats and are on you the minute you stop now .

    Over thirty years packed up and every now and then , especially if someone lights up a nice cigar on a Shoot day , I fancy a smoke , you just accept you can’t and get on ..

    You got the hump with people because you didn’t really want to pack up , no good trying to pack up for othe people mate , when you want to kick it for you it’s easy ..two packs a day for fifteen years I had two or three goes before I decided to quit ..no substitute for determination..stick with it .

    All the advice above ..And keep it well away from any game , that just puts it in the situation for things to go wrong ..Five months old basic training should be a fun game . All the spaniels I’ve had (3) never see any live game until they were twelve months old all the time spent now on basic training will pay of .
