    Have to agree I have one which hasn't had a full season yet due to injuries. Fast as hell with stamina to spare but I think some collie blood would go along way. Dean flutes pups should make great pot filling dogs

    Le tour of crap cost me double time at work I ain't bothered about a load of silly men in lycra racing around for the entertainment of others them b@stards have cost me £250 due to roads being closed at work. Not everyone is entertained be fecking bike racing. feck the tour de France keep it fecking over there I don't care about a fecking bicycle race

    Don't do it I've got one never again with a bit of bull in it. They are game as hell and don't stop for nothing mines not even 2 and had more injuries than a veteran. Joking aside they do give 100% on everything Atb with the pup

    Rip blue, gutted for you friend keep your chin up. Iv got a dog hear sounds exactly the same 100mph at everything. I fear he will have the same fate but it's all part of the lurcher world and keeps it exciting aswell as scary at times. The dogs not even 2 and has a list of injuries through doing what he loves some you think he's dead then comes back tail wagging wanting to go again.

    Had him to the vets again today not a greyhound vet but he said he has had experience with greyhound injuries. He thinks it is just a badly bruised muscle as the dog doesn't seem to be in any pain and once walking around seems fine. He recommended regular lead walks (twice a day). Just to loosen him up. If any problems to take him back. So hopefully should be ok. Il see how he goes if am not happy then greyhound vet it is.

    Going to get him looked at tomorrow as don't won't the dog out if action before he's learned his trade. He was injured at the start of last Season ( his 1st season ) for a few months which halted his progress and now this.

    Tell about it he is going mental being kenneled up. A trip to the greyhound vet on Monday hopefully should get a better picture of his injury

    Thanks for the replys. I didn't think a pulled muscle would last this long, he is getting better. But think il try a greyhound vet just to be sure.

    Hi all I am asking this question due to my lurcher having damaged his shoulder / top of the leg. While out on a routine walk. Had him to the vets and they said it just looks like he has twisted and pulled a muscle. Well a week and a half later he is still limping. Had him out walking but only on the lead and not great a distance. My question is have you ever had any similar experience and did the lurcher run to its full potential again? Thanks

    They just look bald no irritation signs just pink and clean, starting to get hair again now so I think it was just moulting. Just never had a ferret when moulting loose all there hair on feet abd face in one go

    Never thought of that pal. Mainly this time of year they have dry food due to flys but they do get a meat carcass once a week. Rabbit, pigeon etc
