  4. I was pretty wrecked last night, but I think the fb/youtube ones are the ones with the image that peoplw have in their heads when it comes to dog hunting. It this that I am thinking off when it comes to larger deer etc. I was bought up if you are not going to eat it or it isn't eating something you eat don't kill it. You are right there tozer have respect for what you hunt. If you going to kill it eat it or make use of it otherwise leave it to live another day.
  5. Agree the best feeling in the world watching a lurcher at work.
  6. I fed mine a crow the other week what the dog caught fed it to the ferrets and 2 days later both ferrets were covered in them there were about 15 on each ferret never seen so many. Will be checking what I feed them from now in the summer months.
  7. Pups looking very happy and healthy pal.
  8. Theres a bloke in the terrier section who uses collies with some success. I think collies would make great ferreting dogs in tight areas
  9. yeh good size fox that, and in great nick I seen vid with a brock playing terries , and thought I seen a pic of a fox kept as a pet by a old lad who had working terriers, it was very old pic in the edrd mag unless I am wrong .? same as dogs will be ok with cats they know, but kill strange cats. since my young dog had that cat, I swear the prat looks for them now . Your correct bird I had a pic of a old rat catcher who worked terriers and foxes together but can't remember his name

  16. Well done gaz 16 is an excellent number for a pups 1st time on the lamp. Remember it's only a pup and learning should be made as easy as possible so why not start it on fresh, lamp shy bunnies. Don't worry about other people's views Atb
  17. Sorry pal my fault. Just keep scanning the area and maybe put some mink type traps around. Hope you find it pal
  18. I wouldn't have gone out this time of year without a locator. The ferret has probably found a nest of young rabbits and it's self a feast and then a nap. If I was you I would just keep scanning the area and hope for the best. Was all holes covered up if not it will be long gone. Atb in finding it
