    Gnasher16 will no more on the subject. But when I started boxing at 12 I was told not to start doing weights until I was 14/15 any sooner was a no go as the muscle hasn't developed enough to start heavy lifting. Im no expert so don't hold me to that.

    A greyhound ferret is a cross between a greyhound and a ferret they cut the lurcher out, the ferret goes down and then chases the rabbit across the field and catches it.

    Ferret prices, I bred a litter last year and a couple of kits looked a lot like the "EU" polecats (as the dealers call them). Gave them away to a bloke and I looked at the ads this year on preloved and he has breed them making out they are true eu and black ferrets and selling them for £70 each. Ferrets should be bred for work and not looks price wise give away to friends or local ferreters, responsible newcomers, If you think you can make a living out of breeding ferrets think again

    Hi I've ordered the little devil with double hunting bands. Wanted something small and compact but powerful enough to put some away. Going to start making my own once my workshop is up an running

    I do hope so if not that was a pathetic attempt at rat catching. Plummers do make excellent ratting dogs, but so do other terriers.

    Mine was a nightmare to learn and still not were I want him to be, I couldn't learn him to retrieve due to the fact he wouldnt and still won't chase a ball, rabbit skin, stick, dummy etc just doesn't excite him. For some reason will only chase live game. Once he has caught he comes to about 10 yards and waits for me which is very annoying. He is a saluki whippet bull greyhound x s/w/g so very sighthoundy a splash of collie would go along way Maybe I have failed with his retrieving.

    Have to agree I have one which hasn't had a full season yet due to injuries. Fast as hell with stamina to spare but I think some collie blood would go along way. Dean flutes pups should make great pot filling dogs
