  1. I think Busher knew what he was out of and it has come up on here but i can't remember.
  2. I think he was mate. Can't remember what he's out of or if he was any good. Seen him at a show about 12 years ago.
  3. With that quilt who cried over his talcum powder ?
  4. Your right mate, she was... Dee, Spike, Custard and Ice were others out of them. It's that bloody long ago i'm getting mixed up ??
  5. Pye's litter sister 'was' called Custard ?
  6. Excellent, that all looks fantastic, especially that corn. I'm way behind you for a harvest as yet, can only gather runners, carrots and that cabbage, though i should of covered it, as the outer leaves have taken a pasting. Had a nice harvest of 'first earlies' Pentland Javelin. They've been lovey eating. My seconds will be a couple of weeks yet. Though i think i mentioned, i'm growing spuds in bags next year. It'll give me more space for more brassicas, which i want to grow.
  7. Really pleased with my sweetcorn so far and the parsnips in it's shadow seem to be thriving. The outdoor tomato's are doing ok, just need to ripen up now. Grown on the original garden fence i dug up when creating the plot.
  8. ? A few good days ratting in company, especially if you've got a couple of specks on the same place, will usually see any terrier sticking with the group because thats where the action is. Seen it work with a few 'bought in' terriers over the years, two of which were Plummers.
  9. Took us 3 series to confirm what we seen in that first episode... It's shite.!
  10. While i'm the first to shout against any horse cruelty, I watched that on the day it happened and never seen anything that should lead to the shitestorm that followed... Though i will say this, the pressure got to her, she blew it, not the horses refusal. She lost it on board, got all panicky and her face showed it all. She had the time to re-group that horse and go at it again but she had, sadly, lost it. The sadness is, that it seemed she didn't know that the horse had flaws and she sure didn't have the strength to work through them... It was a low point of the games for me bu
  11. Oh jesus, your talking my kinda lingo... But i do love a drop of red to wash it down with...?
  12. It is, though i've always admired those that risk all for escape and take the plunge. Same with those that flip or jump over the dog, i'm ok if they get away, i'd like to think they'll breed and those cunning genes will be there again. ?
  13. I've never watched an episode sadly. Missed the boat when it started and never bothered. I know it's funny as fuk but i've gone past it.
  14. Seen a few swim the ditches. Had one run up the bank and swam the river Alt.
  15. Think i was scarred as a kid watching Black Beauty and so horse films i just can't watch. They get me all emotional somehow, War Horse, Hidalgo etc. I've never watched them! Nothing pulls more at my heart strings than a horse on film looking afraid and being poorly treated. If someone is being unkind to a horse i just wanna kill him, so that film is out for me...
  16. We've jibbed Sons Of Anarchy after 3 series... I was struggling with it from the start tbh. First off, the crappy bikes (all had a hooded front!) No custom work, none looked gritty, or owned by a biker that had worked on it and they all looked the same, no individuality. They all looked owned by weekend riders who have 9 to 5's... The shitty knives they all wear, that look like the 15 quid bowie's you could by in old iron mongers shops when i was a kid. The 'no matter how serious the situation' ya gotta put your helmet on before you get on your bike! The 'handsome' main bl
  17. The cinemaphotoghraphy, the acting etc are all top draw BUT the plot gets weaker as the film goes on... Theres a few films like that, not that i can think of one as i write this BUT they are somehow sold to the film companys as if its cool to have a crappy ending... Well in my book it's not..! Brought up in the 70's with a head full of westerns and a good smattering of those old films with Cagney, Grant or Gene Kelly. The films i grew up with and loved all had an ending, usually a decent ending at that. When John Wayne, in the Searchers turns away from the homestead door and wal
  18. Yep, make a pup as comfy as possible, loads of play, a bellyfull of good grub, toys, water and more grub. Then leave it safe... Start as you mean to go on. Get to bed and turn a deaf ear... It'll be fine in the morning ?
