  1. Apart from the spittin on the dogs head.. Love the bit where the old 'Injun says 'maybe he ain't as old as he thought he was..' An fecks the squaw..!!
  2. For those who missed this earlier...
  3. The Searchers... That end scene, where he walks out, Wayne 'borrowed' from his favorite 'silent' cowboy as a kid... The Shootist... Wayne was dying with the same cancer as JB Books who he was playing on screen... Red River... Epic! Rio Bravo... How good is Dino..!! The Man Who Shot Liberty Vallance... Wow!! She Wore a Yellow Ribbon... True Grit...Wow!! Hondo... One of his least known films, his dog (named Dog!) was played by Lassie (who was really Laddie!) The Big Country and How the West was Won... Are two classics Don't forget Butch Cassidy & The Sunda
  4. I've sent YCRBUCH a text to see if he's got the number.
  5. Mal's right though, the standard of import coal is shite in comparison with our gear. I'm the same Walshie, paper, wood and firelighters if its a fresh batch of coal and damp as feck...
  6. Mines gone in, the only school in the area to be open... But for how long... I'm on standby...!!
  7. Fair play to that bloke... Most simply react in terror with sharks and in most cases rightly so but this bloke used a bit of 'common' and dragged it from being a potential danger. Though, to be fair, most Welsh blokes are well used to and very good at hanging on the back end of a poor critter as it tries to get away..! Was that 'ol Charts letting it swim back out to sea..??
  8. I thought about using it but I think going grey is a more natural and dignified approach.
  9. Is good to have other lads opinions on lads and dogs though... but i get were your coming from, well its not good asking on here I also agree with that too mate but if lads were to be commenting on articles in the mag or first hand experience of his dogs, then all's fair but that bloke and his mag have done more for working terriers and terrier men over the past years than anyone or anything else (not forgetting B.W. too!). I just think that folk should subscribe first, read and digest, then come on asking questions, because really, its all there in black and white.
  10. As I posted back in March, I don't comment on SS's gear too often on here, two reasons, I class 'ol A as a bloody good mate and permanently posting on his gear would always come across as a wee bit biased. I also really do think his gear can sell itself and once folk order the 'right' stuff for their dogs word will always spread on its quality. I have one of these on my dog, got it just under a year ago, believe me if any mutt can put one of these to the test mine is that dog. The collar, as expected, has/is standing up to everything thrown at it, still looks damn good too. It's this
  11. It's this simple.... If anyone want's to know anything about Dave or his dogs, subscribe to EDRD, he reports monthly on whats going on in there. He has been for as long as the mag has ran for, so if you need anymore info buy some back issues. His articles are very informative, almost diary-like, there is no-one else out there giving that much info out. The man is practically an open book, has been for years, so buy the fecking thing and give it a read. Far better than putting threds, that usually go down hill, on here..!!!
  12. Chris, I'd like to think I know most around that age, especially with there own 'line' but that name don't spring to mind, though I'll ask about for you.
  13. Horsemeat found in Tesco burgers. Camel toe found in Primark leggings..!!

  14. Battles and Jeys are both good, though some lads seem to think it should be drenched on as thick as poss, you really don't need that much. I'm with Chid too, get 'em out twice a day and they'll never use the run.
  15. Dan/Fuji, couldn't agree with both of you more... As pups, play over various ground, challenging ground, is a must and constant too. Nice pics too Fuji, you'll need to get the camera out again Friday, when that snow hits.
  16. If that dog is 31" at the shoulders, then that is a super king sized bed..!!
