  11. 250 mtr's is a long way to shoot rabbits, not saying it can't be done or it's not done. I do occasionally shoot them at that range, but more often than not if they are that far out it's not to difficult to gain another 100 mtr's on them. Anyway back to the calibre question, I use a .222 with matchking ammunition for head shooting rabbits keep the damage down a little bit, still slightly messy but no centre fire will be as tidy as a .22 rimfire, well I've yet to find one. That's what I use anyway and it also suits me for fox out to the ranges you mention as well as taking long range Crows
  12. I know they hitting them with the dog's, every young lad with a runner from Eastfield is on there, and every young lad with an air rifle takes roosting pheasants from the square wood up towards the tip. Not very often I get out that way now, tend to do most of my shooting around Muston and Burton Flemming, fields are to small really for the dogs to get a good run and to wet and small for anybody to drive, ideal land for shooting fox and deer.
  13. Gibbo's no doubt, plenty of rat there to shoot or they used to be, I've got that spot behind the water treament works, used to be a real hot spot for rabbits for years until it got flooded out never really recovered after that.
  14. Never thought to mention it pal lol
  15. Can't believe you're selling that, I've just bought a Pro sport of big mac on here. I've been looking for an air rifle for weeks. Infact the last time I was at your house I was looking for one lol, never mind. Good luck with the sale Steve.
