  1. Should have told them to f**k off and not let them on the property.
  2. Only problem with a dog that takes feather is when you've been given permission or work on a shoot and the sod won't leave them alone. There's about 15,000 game birds to avoid round here
  3. I'll keep an eye out round here, its about time the thieving feckers got caught and proper filled in
  4. The best dog i've ever seen for marking was my old border terrier, a few lads off the forum seen him in action too. He could mark a rabbit in a hole from a fair distance away and I could just send him into a wood and walk down the outside of it watching him, when he started tiptoeing round the holes or stood still you could wander over and net up. RIP Gnash
  5. Its roughly around the 9 month old mark when they have their first.
  6. You'll find most dogs will do that mate unless they've been trained to stand back and wait for the bolt.
  7. Either a terrier or a lurcher depending on which one I want to take with me.
  8. Might sound a stupid question but its definitely a ferret and not a white stoat? Just with you saying its a young one makes me think small and you say its like greased lightning?
  9. Sounds like he's found you will back down and he can dominate you, dogs need to know their place in the family. I'm no expert on canine psychology but it sounds like you need to put him in his place but even with doing that he might still act that way round your missus?
  10. 10z or 12z 4 footers. I tried the spun nylon nets once on a windy bank and they just blew off the holes. Might have been ok with a dunk in the ditch first.
  11. Couple of clicks to the left and you'll be nearly as good as me with the S410 Good shooting but was it held in place on a bench or anything?
  12. If he's gonna be like that I reckon you need to discipline it out of him or keep him on a lead and away from other peoples dogs or in public places. If it was my russel it had attacked for no reason you'd be putting up a RIP thread about the pat.
  13. Cracker Looks his his dam when she was a pup with that coat.
  14. There's a playing field near us thats got a few rabbits on and someone was feeding them carrots and greens while we had all that snow, they'd be gutted if they knew how many my mate had netted off there at night time
  15. There's feck all wrong with the breeding of this pup, the lad who bred its had the same line going for like 30 years. Lets have a look at yours then? Advanced breeder? What kind of shite is that to come out with???
  16. Are you related to Whin by any chance?

Is there any way of finding out if this thread has been linked to from somewhere else as there's 6 guests reading it? An anti forum perhaps? Make that 7
  18. Looks more like a Teckel than a russel to me mate???
  19. Every single post i've read by the OP has been complete bollocks!
  20. Most of my land is flat with a nice peaty soil but quarry is scarse and what is there is jet propelled and knows the score and there are big ditches all over that the dogs managed to misjudge a few times and was lucky not to break his neck. Some patches of rough brambley land and some woodland thats full of fallen trees etc but if there's something there its getting run. The worst injuries my dogs had have been off the dirt tracks full of pot holes and some that are filled in with bricks and tiles.
  21. nice stamp, gniper Cheers, you know the lad who bred him
