Is this safe to use on pigeons that are about to lay? I think the canary version makes them infertile for a bit so not sure wether to use it or not. Cheers

Are the bitches spayed? Give them a level mug of a low protein biscuit and plenty of exercise, if they don't start getting lighter give them 3/4 of a mug once a day with no treats.

If you've got something that will start sitting in a week you can have the next round of eggs from the fife he's scuttling at the moment. She's not a very good feeder.

There's plenty of time yet mate, mine have started early but it will no doubt go tits up for me at some point. If their fit and well fed they'll do the rest especially in aviaries.

This was my first nest of chicks this year. Got another nest a bit younger and some more due to hatch this weekend too along with some greenies. 2 nests of linnet mules started hatching today which took me by surprise I was expecting them friday.

I'd say the stitches were still in there mate looking at the pic. My lurcher was a complete tw@ with his when it was chopped and it looked worse than that but the stitches were still in there. -

With the symptoms you describe like nesting and moulting she isn't coming in season. Personally I'd be made up she lost them or had a phantom if I'd only just got her.

I've never rung anything to a certain age its normally by eye so can't really help mate. I think I've read people leave them till their shitting over the edge of the pan though.
