I was there as well , i too have been going for years. Only cos I get a free ticket . I’ve given up moaning about it and instead enjoy it for what it is . I can’t walk 10 yards without bumping into someone I know and having a natter. There is a bit of tat there , but they seem to sell the shit . There is something for all the family at Frampton , lots of demonstrations, drystone walling , fly tying, wood turning . Sheepdogs . The hunt and the Lancers in the main ring . I’ve been signing the box on my firearms saying that they can check with my doctor for years . I’ve got no problem with it . Trouble is someone who is having mental health issues is less likely to seek the help they need for fear of losing their license. This is more of an issue for the likes of keepers who need firearms for their job . -
Just a bit of advice for someone who asked about bad luck . If he’s feeling suicidal or he’s clinically depressed this is the last place to come for advice . He will be swinging from a low branch by the end of the day !!?

You need to stop believing everything you read , animal rights propaganda probably.As far as I’m aware no one I know is dumping birds . Yes the bottom has dropped out of the export market, the guy who used to take my birds to Belgium stopped taking them as he couldn’t make it pay . The game dealers that are going , none that I know of are now paying for birds . “Why would they now”. But they are still taking them , and pheasants are still going in the food chain . I took it to a garage and they put it on their diagnostics and we took it out to do a regeneration. It has to get up to 600 degrees and you watch the reading go down , in my case 300 to zero. They also recommend an oil change . So I’m £120 lighter . But it’s all sorted now . I asked about gutting the filter and a re map . They don’t recommend it as if they suspect it’s been done it’s an MOT fail . It does go against the grain to think that a piece of kit designed to cut emissions doesn’t benefit from careful slow driving and short journeys . Thanks all for your advice ?

I’ve been on a few real deep digs , digging into the night , but I’ve never been in a situation when I thought my number was up but I’ve been on a few that we nearly lost dogs . I will share a story that might interest you . There was an “earth” behind a house belonging to a couple Dentists who had moved into the village . They were up for retirement and loved their garden . I’ve had landrovers , L200s , a ranger and now a hilux . A Hilux will go on for 250,000 300,000 miles if you look after it . But they aren’t cheap . They reckon that the Isuzu engines don’t last like the Toyota . They are all good motors while the are running alright . I got a Hilux because of their reputation for being the “bench mark “ pickup . Read the reviews the new Rangers now out perform the Hilux .... but will they last ? I don’t think you will go far wrong with a Toyota , trouble is the dreaded VAT that you seem to have to pay on most of them . I was lucky and didn’t pay VAT on mine .

I believe that children deserve to be bought up with a loving family without excess drink , drugs or violence or the chaos that usually comes from substance abuse . Weather mum or dad are together or not , children can still cope . These people may honestly believe that they can provide a loving caring home for the child . Other children can be cruel though , and as most of the posts on here will tell you , adults can be very intolerant too . My problem is lots of short journeys and cheap fuel . I be been told to put shell v power every third fill up cos it’s got additives in it that help stop this kind of thing happening. I am probably guilty of tootling along , I guess at 53 I possibly fall in the fart catagory . I probably do six trips of a mile a day , the engine doesn’t even get warm .

After a bit of advice from you boys . I’ve got a 2013,Hilux HL2 D4D . The DPF system light has started flashing and the malfunction indicator lamp has come on . It is driving and sounds fine , will I be all right to drive it until Monday or Tuesday when I can get it sorted, also is it much of a job ? Advice much appreciated.

If I ever go anywhere that isn’t in a field or under a hedge I’m usually with the Mrs . It’s simple .... I just pass her all my stuff that won’t fit in my pockets and she puts it in her hand bag .
