  1. FAC mk1 rapid, but with an Allen key though. Good shooting, the crown seems like a useful and versatile gun in FAC?. Nice one.?
  2. I don’t use my hmr anywhere near as much as .22lr, but it does work well for me. I use it mainly for corvids but prefer the .22 for most stuff. .22 hornet does everything the hmr does and more for me. I still like the hmr though, just not as much as the .22 or the hornet.
  3. Me neither, I’ve been shooting airguns since I was a kid and never cleaned a barrel on any of them. Never noticed any loss of accuracy ?
  4. Ahh, Winchester lasers, I haven’t used any of those for a while. They are a good hv round?
  5. These lead free pellets may be crap, but at least they’ll save the world for future generations as we all know?.
  6. Good shooting Nathan. I think you must have been unlucky with the rws hv’s. I’ve never had a bad ‘un...got to agree though, the eley hv’s were great. I haven’t been able to source any for years.
  7. At £200 quid for a new rifle, I don’t see how you can beat a 99s. They’ve got to be the Best Buy at that price point. Excellent trigger and good build quality, accurate, great value and will be easy to sell on as HW’s have a good reputation and they last and last. As CC says, best in .22?.
  8. I’ve also got a 500 pump hushpower. Maybe not as “nice” as my Benelli Supernova, but it gets more use and it’s tough as nails.?
  9. That’s it Nathan, as you know, if they hit the ground running they’re soon gone, and if you can’t see them land, you don’t know where they’ve gone. They can be fifty yards away in no time. What make is the gun Nathan?
  10. Are you allowed a moderator on the wildcat in Australia Ron?
  11. I agree. I was considering an FAS, but for the price of a new entry level pistol I might be better off with an older but higher spec piece like a feinwerkbau model 2. The thing is finding one for sale that I can have a look at and handle first. I know there’s plenty of new ones for sale in the £700-£1800 range, but I’m not that serious about it.?
  12. Ahh, never thought of that. Good idea, thanks Phil?
  13. Thanks Phil. There’s some fantastic Pistols available but I’m thinking something older at around £400 ish maybe? Just for the experience really. I don’t know if it’ll go anywhere from there so don’t want to jump in at big money pistols atm.?
  14. I’ve been thinking about getting a target pistol. Something like an old feinwerkbau or similar. Just wondering if anyone on here has any experience of them? Something like these maybe?
  15. There’s some bleddy noodle arms on here ???
