  1. Felt a wet patch in my trousers, no not that...it’s my wallet crying........again???
  2. I’ve handled the crown and I’ve got to agree it felt great in weight, balance and ergonomics. Not tried the streamline though. Got both in stock at livens. He’s also got synthetic crowns in both .22 fac and .25 fac in stock. Just thinking about printing off a 201V. ? aaarrrgh.......
  3. Are those 45’s easy enough to strip then Rez? I’ve read somewhere that they’re a bit of a bar steward in that respect. An old pal of mine bought one years ago when they first came out. I was surprised by its accuracy.
  4. I know, been trying to avoid it but I could certainly use one. Considering a streamline as well, as it might do all I need and maybe a crown is more than I need? Not sure.?
  5. Good account and good result Ian. Well done fella?
  6. Just wondering what’s the maximum power setting in .22 fac? Is it .177/.22 on one dial, and then max on the other? Or can you then move the first dial up to .25/.30 and then go up again on the min/max dial? If so, what do they go up to in .22 please? If anyone’s tried this I’d be interested to know. Thanks.
  7. Still a good result newsboy ? well done fella.
  8. Ack Ack for me, it’ll do a humane job on all legitimate quarry. Bit of a bugger to carry around the fields mind.....Might have to reload for it as well ?......
  9. These bullets, even rimfire bullets, are in a different league to airgun pellets including fac air, when it comes to carrying power and strike energy. You can’t underestimate them, and they need absolute respect in their ability to damage what they hit. When moving up from airguns, they are a learning curve, no doubt about it.
  10. Here’s some wood to get you started. Woody, from Bay City Rollers. Woody Woodpecker. Edwood Wood Wood, but he might shoot back.
  11. I’ve used them, and still got a few I think, in 12 and fourten. They’ve worked ok for me because if they were crap I’d have remembered ?
  12. Yep, the old wasps are a better fit in the barrel. Unfortunately not made anymore, but I find my Webley mk3 prefers these also, as did my old airsporters. Only got a few tins left now, and the new bisley wasps just aren’t the same.?
  13. Not sure deker, probably federal or cci tnt, t’was a while ago?
  14. I don’t know if my pistol shooting skills would show up much difference, but I’ll give it a go when I get time?
  15. Yes, but it was full of splinters.?
  16. A couple of bags of building sand. I don’t know about the worktops, but my hmr shot straight through a four inch fence post at 100 yards.
