  1. Sounds better. 85 degrees is perfect. Do you use a thermometer?
  2. Is it me, as I thought tea in a flask is horrible. I'd rather drink water and I love tea. If I bother to use a flask, I make coffee and with no milk. I usually take milk, but not in a flask. Am I doing something wong or am I just a tea snob?
  3. I got rid of it with a combination of cleaning with salt water, cotton buds and I dosed the dogs with Advocate over 3 months. The bitch in question was kept indoors to try to stop her scratching and I gave her antihistamine to help her with that. The scratching was a big problem.
  4. What religion would you follow on your island?
  5. They have little compassion for humans, so animals are well down the list. I gave a fly fishing lesson to a couple recently, the woman was Chinese. She couldn't understand why you would dispatch your catch, she wanted to put a stringer through their gills and leave them in the water alive! Something about keeping them fresh and I suppose she had a point. I told her that she would never buy a fish as fresh as that fish in the UK, unless you knew the skipper of a fishing boat or you went to a fish farm. I proceeded to tell her if you want it really fresh, I'll gut it for you and you can eat
  6. I'm all over that, cant wait. They are allowing catch and release for the average man too. I think you'd need to meet certain criteria.
  7. 100% there are a lot more good Patts than Beddys, trouble is the stamp of the dog. I've got a cruncher of a young Terrier Spaniel bitch here, mostly terrier. She is just over 16" tts and 28lb pretty racey with a good head. If she turns into a good bitch, I may put the right Non ped Whippet across her. They would be used mostly for bushing, but could make good lamping dogs.
  8. Yep, stick money in one end and shite comes out the other. I know many people where horses rule their life. Had a couple of Ponies when my boy was young, They soon went when he lost interest.
  9. Blows hot and cold that lad. What's happened to him now, love, sheep, job, dope, all of the above?
  10. Wouldn't have a Lurcher without a bit of Bull in it. They add more than any single breed, even the Greyhound. If there were any other decent large terriers, I would consider those too, but there isn't.
  11. Most people have one at some point, hilarious at times. Cringeworthy at others

    Wanted

Gave my old Bull x this for the last 2 years of her life, made a whole heap of difference. It came in 7.5mg which is massive for dogs, so do your calculations correctly. I was giving her 1/3 of a tablet and every other day to start with. Melorise was the brand name.
  13. I've never seen them, although I know they have been seen locally in their dozens. There is loads of their favourite food near by, I wait every year for their arrival. Well done on the pics.
  14. I've got a 2 year old Lurcher here, that retrieves bang on, lives in/out doors and needs a loving home.
  15. Two wheel drive with fat puncture proof tires is the way to go, for rough terrain. I have a 2 x 750w bike with a 40 amp/hour battery and the battery lasts no time when doing hill, mud etc and that is with pedal assist and I only weigh 13.5 stone.
  16. anything more than 250w and it needs legalising. MOT and insurance Electric bikes: licensing, tax and insurance - GOV.UK WWW.GOV.UK Electric bikes meeting the EAPC regulations can be ridden on the road without being taxed, licensed or insured
  17. It will always be the next invader.
