WHAT A PR**K. i'd say as most have it depends on your area. there great little dogs and it's great to see one at full tilt on it's quarry. working dogs should never be about numbers anyway, just enjoy being out with a dog at your side that knows it job should be enough.

where do you buy your legbars from?! and that is absolute bollox about them eating less and laying more....... theres some on bird trader for £20 if you go to a dealer it wiil be more. hybreeds like warren, amber link lay an egg every day for a year in the right conditions. others breeds like rhode island red lay around 240 or a maran lays around 200 in the same amount of time. if you pick up a warren it's just skin and bone were as a sussex are quite chunky( a daul purpose bird). little of your feed goes into meat only eggs. those birds are purpose bred by an industry

hiya mate. if your paying for them then it can be an expensive hobby. it will probally cost you between 22 - 30 quid for a legbar maybe more. you could buy three hybrid layers for that price. what i find is that if i buy three hybrids from the same hatch they all go off the lay at the same time anyway. they don't look as pretty but they are more cost effective because they lay more and eat less food

Impossible to answer, A good hunt may be between 1 and 3 hours and 15 or 30 km. thats impressive. those hounds must be really fit thanks for the reply .

i used a recycling box went straight through and pulled the light fitting down , then had to listen to the whole why didnt you use the stepladders routine

nice to hear mate. to many people cant see there dog without rose colored glasses on it takes a true dog man/woman to see your own dogs faults. all my dogs are perfect

i couldn't mate . if i had seen that dog dead on the side of the road in the morning i wouldn't of forgiven myself. the sad facts are if they cant look after a dog and dont know were it is thats not your fault i know mate . it did have a harness on and look in good nick but you've got a good point there.

i was just trying to do the right thing and hopefully if one of my dogs were in the same prediciment i hope someone else would do the same. i've picked up a few strays while out walking the dogs and it's always a bonus having a tin of chocolate bought for you when you've reunited a dog to it's owner. i wasn't thinking of the chocolates honest . lara thats unbelievable. they closed our high street on a thursday night because of it.
